Usually I love this place, but this was an unpleasant visit for take away. The manager was rude about the mistakes made and was just plain snippy with me. Ordered fried ice cream with honey, got sopapillas with chocolate. Ordered a dinner chicken chimichanga, got a lunch sized beef chimichanga. Ordered 1 dinner sized beef chimichanga, it was also lunch sized. I know, because I have had both sizes and often get lunch from there during work. The manager proceeded to tell me they don’t serve dinner chimichangas until after 4pm. It was after 5pm when I placed my order. I said the tortilla was definitely not 12”. She told me they don’t serve them on 12” tortillas… the website says that’s what the dinner chimi is. I mean otherwise you’re charging $4 more for the same thing just bc it’s later in the day? Also the chimi dinners when ordered online comes with a place you can choose 5 side. Up to 5. I chose 3. I didn’t receive the third bc the manager said you can’t have fries with the chimi when you order double rice double beans. That’s fine, I wasn’t upset (and thought I was being a little greedy for wanting fries too lol) but your website needs changed then. No biggie, but a little misleading. When I pointed that out, the manager was caught an attitude. The manager said there’s not much She can do since I was not willing to drive back, and She couldn’t send a delivery person bc their short staffed. I wasn’t asking for them to deliver, so the attitude was unnecessary. I just said I can’t drive down there to get it. I mostly just wanted them to pay attention to what they were doing. We ended with 1 chimichanga and the fried ice cream being refunded, so not a total loss. The mistakes were just avoidable if someone just paid attention a little bit, the food was mediocre this time, but perhaps it’s because the manager’s attitude left a bad taste in our mouths. Read moreI used to be such a loyal customer. I would order every week through Door Dash. Unfortunately, Los Mayas got greedy as to how they want to do deliveries now and have multiple contracts to make more money with different delivery services or they use their employees. Because of their negligence, not only did my food not show up after 2 hours, but their shady delivery system is full of live scammers who are trying to steal the tips and money of the customers. The scammers will call and text you acting as if they are apart of the delivery service. It took a quick search to see that the numbers associated with it has been known to scam. Either Los Mayas knows that they agreed to a shady and scamming third party service that steals money from their customers or they just don’t care that much to do anything because “it’s not tied directly to our restaurant since it’s a third party”. The woman from their restaurant was gaslighting me on the phone as I was calling her out on the obvious scamming tactics which leads me to believe that they are aware of this. DO NOT ORDER THEIR FOOD USING THEIR WEBSITE OR DOORDASH AS LOS MAYAS IS ASSOCIATED WITH A KNOWN SCAMMING ORGANIZATION.
Absolutely disappointed as to how this was all handled. To make matters worse, it seems like their food as gone downhill recently. Different cooks maybe? Everything has been really dry and bland lately. This isn’t the Los Mayas that I used to know and loved dearly.

Read moreWas really disappointed with my recent experience on Mother's Day. I've come in here a few times in the past usually pretty happy with the food that I got. However when I called to place my order on Mother's Day, the phone was off the hook for well over 20 minutes and then when I did finally get through to order they told me it would be ready in under half an hour and apparently told everybody else the same thing when they called in to order because we all proceeded to wait inside the front lobby for an additional 40 minutes longer with no apologies & when I finally did get my food it was lukewarm, as if it had been sitting the last 15 minutes. Not to mention when I finally did get home and we got to eat it the food wasn't very well seasoned if at all and just definitely did not have the usual Flair when I've come here before.
There was no clear sign of leadership, as it was just chaos through the entire restaurant and it seemed like everybody was trying to do everybody's job, leaving huge gaps in customer care and quality control.
When I attempted to call back to explain my dissatisfaction, the phone was off the hook again and I know that there wasn't calls coming through at the time because I was inside the restaurant for well over 40 minutes and could witness the amount of calls that were coming in.
