My experience was horrible! Last night (04.02.23) I visited the location at 2815 London Groveport Road. I went through the drive-thru at 10:00 PM and attempted to order the 16-piece family meal and was told that they didn't have enough chicken to accommodate my order. I then asked if they could make the chicken and was told, "No. They had already shut down the fryers in preparation of closing." I then asked if they had any chicken tenders and was told no as well. What is the point of staying open until 10:30 if you don't have any chicken available to offer your customers. Needless to say, I was very upset because I had been promising my daughter and her friends KFC for their sleepover. Mike was the staff at the window and the one who I communicated with through-out this encounter. I then asked for his managers contact information and he provided me with a phone number for a gentleman by the name of Ed. Before leaving the parking lot I contacted Ed and was told basically the same thing Mike said... that they had already shut down the fryers, so I was out of luck. The customer service that I received from both of these staff members was extremely unprofessional. I work as A GM for Holiday Inn Express and deal with unhappy guests all the time. To be told that the place that serves chicken doesn't have any chicken 30 minutes prior to close is ridiculous and unacceptable. I then asked for the contact information of the manager that Ed reports to and was told that his name was Ted and I would have to come to the store at 1:30 PM on 04.03.23 to receive his contact information. The whole interaction was extremely shady. I would like to be contacted by the Franchise's top manager and/or a Corporate manager that is accountable for this location's performance. There was 3 people in line waiting to order or pick up their online order which was supposedly to have been ready ten minutes ago. 4 people were working but no one is taking orders and weren't even in sight. The gentleman before me finally starts calling to the back "Hello.... anyone working?" Finally a lady (supervisor?) comes up and takes orders then you see three other workers finally coming to the kitchen area. The lady questioned if she had enough chicken when taking my order of 12 piece chicken only. I then waited another 15+ minutes for my order when they initially told me fresh chicken was coming out in 2 minutes. Meanwhile drive thrus were coming through and getting their orders. Finally, I had to ask a worker in view about my order and she tells me "she's unsure because she's been off the clock for 10 minutes" when indeed she just helped a previous customer 5 minutes ago. A different lady finally hands me my chicken and tells me instead of 12 pieces of chicken, she put in 16. Thinking perhaps it was for my long wait, i thanked her and left. At dinner, guess what? There was only the 12 pieces I paid for. Anyways, terrible service. Would not go here again. They are either short staff or just...
Read moreIt would be a great choice for the owner to stop in and see what he/she is paying for . We waited at the counter for AT LEAST 10 minutes. Employees saw we were there, never came over. By the way, we were the only ones in line and drive thru was not busy when we came in. Finally, after waiting and being ignored, the guy working the drive through finally told the girl, hey you have people waiting. The girl came over, looking like we completely disturbed her from “working so hard”. The first thing we went to order was a chicken pot pie. She turns around to open up an empty oven and said we don’t have any. By this point, I was over it. We left, so you missed out on a sale…So to the GM or owner or anyone who cares about the quality or future of the business, you lost our business. And I’m sure, you’re losing a lot more than just mine, because you have failed to check up on your investment . You’d think with a google review as low as yours, that would tip you off...
