Waffle House — Restaurant in Jackson Township

Unfortunately, this was the worst service that I have received in a very long time. I initially tried to call in a pick-up order and after waiting on hold for about 15-20 minutes, the line disconnected. I then tried to call back, and well, no one picked up. I guess I should have given up after that, but I decided to drive to the location (665). Once inside, I believe a server and cook were in a heated argument over orders. Speaking of heat, well, it was definitely on and extremely hot inside. As I stood and waited patiently, several waitresses were working behind the counter. I counted eight total, including the cooks. There were maybe 20 people inside dining. So they were not short-staffed. As you stood there, not one person acknowledged me or my existence. Now about ten minutes had expired, and a customer even walked up and paid. I thought, okay, now someone will take my order, but nope, I didn't happen. At this point, I ask if they were taking takeout orders. The large male cook turned and gave me a dirty look like I was bothering them. So I ask again, and finally, a young lady said she would take my order. She was very kind and courteous. Once they took my order, the food came out pretty quickly and was satisfactory. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be going back...

Where to start I have been here two days In a row and my food has been completely disgusting. Customer service is terrible. I had to ask three different times for a straw when employees are sitting on their phones. Silverware I was given was dirty. Each and every table both days I came into this location was dirty. Not once did the waitress offer to clean the spots for us. Also specifically asked for no cheese on an item and was still given cheese on the item. Then to top it off my toast was burnt and had a hair in it when asked to have the price of the toast taken off my check I was told no because I got a combo meal...seriously!!! Also had to fetch our own menus and they were sticky and dirty during covid you would think these kinds of things would be disinfected and sterilized after each use. Also had to listen to the cook complain about cooking each item and also blurting outloud about how she knowingly messed up ingredients in the chili two days in a row and does not care. My first involvement with Waffle House and it didn't disillusion. I was around the local area for a gathering. It was occupied, however I was welcomed immediately and was coordinated to an open spot at the counter. Not a great deal of room between your neighbor, however I had the option to press in. There was a snare so I could hang my rucksack on the back of the stool.

Administration was composed disorder, however it appeared everybody realized what they were doing. I was getting drained simply observing all the movement. My request was taken rapidly and afterward shouted to those creation the nourishment. My sustenance turned out at various occasions as it was filled in when it was prepared. Waffle, at that point eggs and corn meal, trailed by bacon and in the end the espresso. I wish the espresso had turned out when I requested. I likewise needed to request it twice. This is the main reason it was not five stars.
