Candi's BZB Cafe — Restaurant in Jackson

It looked like a nice little restaurant and had nice waitresses when we came in. The problem was the management. My brother and I went here for breakfast, I just got coffee & he got a bunch of food along side the country fried steak. He said the country fried steak tasted like it was cooked with fish and tasted gross. He asked if it was possible to exchange it for something else after only taking 1 bite. The manager didnt even talk to us herself, but instead sent the waitress & told her she couldnt do anything about it. Just poor management skills. We go out for breakfast together almost every morning and always leave more then 20% tips. We still left about 30% tip since we always do and it wasnt the waitresses fault. We sadly wont be returning here and I wont be suggesting it to friends either. Feeling like ordering breakfast is a game of russian roulette, (you might get something good you might get something gross) just isnt the relaxing experience we enjoy going out for breakfast to get. HORRIBLE...

1st of all friendly as ever! The food was hot delicious and definitely on point! Being born and bred in Middle Tn, raised on those homemade southern foods, it brought back those child hood memories. My waitress Ms Bailey was definitely a great one! She was attentive, down to earth, AWESOME as ever and great conversations! Thank you for the awesome food, fun and laughs.. Everyone shop locally!! The food is great, smiling and friendly faces of the customers , and service with laughs and smiles as well. I'll be back indeed!! This will be the place to meet family for breakfast. Ate here once, and will never return. Service was prompt and friendly, so two starts for that - but the food was pretty bad. $9 for the driest burger I have ever had on a bun that looked like one of those enriched white buns you can buy super cheap at the supermarket. Considering I've had quality gourmet burgers for only a few dollars more, this seemed expensive for what it was. Specifically asked for no mayo on the burger, and got it anyway. Fries had almost no salt and were very bland. Dingy tasteless decor, and waitresses wear bumblebee striped pants that look exactly like pajama bottoms. Also, apparently mustard is not a thing here - they didn't put any on the burger even though I ordered The Works, and there was no mustard bottle...
