After haggling for a few minutes with the host, (he insisted we pick our seats, and we wanted him to select a table for us) we finally decided to sit outside on the patio. It was a good choice. It was a lovely day and the patio was comfortable and peaceful. Our waitress was very young and seemed a little inexperienced. I ordered the appetizer sampler platter to start things off. It comes with their special buffalo chicken dip, pretzel nuggets with a warm beer cheese dip and their honey BBQ boneless wings. Our waitress dropped it on the table and walked away. No plates. No extra napkins. Just a cute smile. Um, excuse me! Young lady? Hello? Can we get some plates? Napkins? Nope. She was already back at the waitress station chatting with her work buddies. We improvised (stole some bev napkins from the bar) and started eating! The buffalo dip was adequate. Not as "cream-cheesy" as I like and it was barely spicy but it is still a treat to see chicken buffalo dip on a menu. The tortilla chips they served with it are pathetic. They were the thinnest chips Iâve ever seen in my life! Ever! Every chip broke when you tried to put it in the dip. I would suggest a sturdier vessel: Celery sticks or pita chips or just a higher quality tortilla chipâŠsomething. The pretzel nuggets were crispy and salty on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside. YUM. The beer cheese was warm, runny, and had a strange, bright orange color. Definitely not what I hoped for. Moving along, I was really looking forward to trying their wings. They are the house specialty! The boneless wings were SMOTHERED in their honey BBQ sauce. The sauce was tasty; robust, smoky, sweet and sticky! The chicken was breaded in a crispy (like, really crispy) coating and inside the white meat chunks were meaty and of a good quality. Overall, the platter was a bit of a disappointment but I appreciate the fact it wasnât a typical âfriedâ appetizer platter. I would order it again. So many things interested me on their menu. I was having a hard time deciding what to order. I was instantly attracted to their chicken pot pie (it's a favorite of mine) but the waitressâs description of it turned me off. I ended up ordering a sandwich from the âBETWEEN THE BUNSâ section of the menu. I ordered their Greek Chicken Sandwich and curly fries. The sandwich sounded so tasty! Juicy grilled chicken, topped with feta cheese, tomatoes, pickled red onion and a âmouthwateringâ tzatziki sauce! YUM!!! I could just imagine the deliciousness! However, my eyes practically popped out of my head when the waitress set it down on the table! First off, none of those ingredients were âbetween a bunâ! It was served between two hearty, grilled (as in greasy) Greek pita pieces! WHATTTT? And the juicy âgrilled chickenâ was âshreddedâ chicken. Dry! The red onions they pickle 'in house' are loaded with a spice that I didnât care for. (Sorry! It's my tastebuds fault!!) I think it was clove but it could be any of those obscure sweeter pickling spicesâŠmaybe allspice or cinnamon. I donât know, but the flavor took over the entire sandwich! To top things off, this was a super messy sandwich! Their mouthwatering tzatziki ended up all over the place! The table, my face, the cement floor, my hands, 10 napkins, ugh!! Unfortunately, this sandwich is not what I thought I was ordering! Silly me! I thought it would be grilled chicken breast on a BUN with those toppings. Live and learn. For the record, their curly fries were just fine. đ My friend ordered a wrap and had no complaints. Although I wasnât super thrilled with my food choices, I would definitely give the dirty bird a second chance. There were a lot of other menu options that looked tasty and deserve a try! I liked the aesthetics, the overall concept of the place, their boneless chicken wings, the patio seating, and the unique menu choices. However, the newbie waitress, the misleading menu description and those foul onions cause me to lower my score. Check it out if you...
Read moreI wish the staff behind the bar would act with a bit of courtesy for individuals with disabilities
First of all, she made me wait for the keg to get replaced while I was already pending at the bar for 10 minutes. I asked for a chair and they booth stared at me. Then the other waitress was unreasonable and took my card away to another part of the bar, shielding my visibility- causing concerns that they are taking photos of it to steal my identity.
The waitress took my number and said she would call, as I asked if they would bring it across the street but they rudely shut me down that they were too busy for that. Although two host at the stand and only three tables in the bar, meant nothing for my special request with my physical disability
I waited 30 minutes for the call and never received
I asked for a refund and she denied my request. Now I have old appetizers with a bad attitude by the staff. She proceeded to touch my hand and call me sweetheart & mention that I shouldnât have come back into town.
All over some macaroni and because Iâm disabled! Im subjected to discrimination by these bad behavior and I truly hope they think about this at night when pondering how they made me felt.
I will not be returning, after being a customer since they opened. Wish that Randy would have kept...
Read moreIt was raining the day I visited, so the outside option was a no-go.. Although it was a bit warm inside, the patio doors were open a bit, so it was comfortable enough, to say the least. Started off with the grilled shrimp and some fried mushrooms.. Nice size shrimp with tails on grill to perfection with the right amount of seasoning. Side of Caribbean Jerk for that taste bud kick start.. The fried mushrooms were sliced mushrooms, battered up,and deep fried to a crispy golden brown. Now for the wings. I went with 10 traditional wings. 5 were in Nashville Hot and 5 in dirty sauce. I believe it was called that.... yeah, I wish I would have had all in that sauce. It was some kind of boom boom sauce with the house twist.. It's definitely a good combination. Now chicken wings might be their specialty they have a menu full of other options... wraps, salads, and more. There's a full bar available. Although I'm not a drinker, there was a decent selection of adult beverages. Mixed drinks, beers, and IPA's. Great little spot to catch a game or a quick lunch break, So you can read my reviews and sit there wanting some good chicken wings and a few refreshing beverages, or you can go check it out...
