The Chase Sports Bar — Restaurant in Jackson

Great food and excellent waitstaff service. I love their pizza! However with a place of this size keep in mind during peak business hours it can be really loud inside and difficult to carry on a conversation at a table.

Also on a side note, we noticed a homeless person outside the front of the building as we were leaving. A staff member (maybe a manager?) came running outside and yelled at the person, who was just walking by as we were leaving - he was not hanging out! It's a public city street. The employee proceeded to yell at (not talk to) the homeless person and told them they had to leave the area or the police would be called. I could understand if the homeless person was panhandling, but he wasn't. Many businesses donate or help the homeless - just maybe not at the front door I understand. Those actions caused more of a scene and damaged my opinion of the business. Yes, there's a homeless problem in Jackson (and other places) but that situation could have been handled...

The food and service were great!! This was my first visit. Went on an early Saturday evening for dinner and it wasn't busy at all. I'm not a sports fan but the TVs didn't bother me (when at other places the noise does bother me). The deep fried pickles were great and they have the GOOD kind of RANCH!!! Yum! The prices were great for the amount of food you get – we ended up taking some home. Lastly, and most importantly, our waitress, Kelly, was wonderful. She checked on us many times and always had a refill of drinks ready before we needed them. She knew we'd need a stack of napkins when she brought the food. That's a great waitress, who knows customers need extra napkins – the one around the silverware is never enough. Why doesn't every waitress know that? Kelly did!! I would have given them 5 stars but the bathroom was not as clean (kind of gross) as I would expect it to be when the place was...

Slow, hostess was too busy sitting at the bar eating breadsticks during dinner rush on a Friday night, had to flag down a waitress who had to get the hostess. After getting seated took 15 minutes to recieve drinks, ordered alcohol, was never given water. Ordered shots along with, got our mixed drinks but was told it'd be longer on the shots... 15 minutes longer. Luckily stopped our waitress before she walked away with our drink order to place an order for an appetizer. Took almost an hours to revieve an appetizer, we were never even asked if we wanted a meal, nor were checked up on for additional drinks. After the appetizer was delivered she dropped it off, apologized for the wait, told us the kitchen was super behind and that the table adjacent to us had been waiting an hour for food. Still didn't ask about drinks despite...
