Crazy Cowboy — Restaurant in Jackson

This is the first negative review I have ever left anyone. Not only was my intelligence questioned but also my character. I ordered lunch for myself and my guest ordered as well. When my guest received her food, her chicken was ice cold and the vegetables were cold and crispy. My guest stated her food was undercooked and would just like beans and rice as a replacement. When I paid the bill, I noticed the charge and asked if it could be removed because it was inadequate. The waitress stated she had already discounted the item. I asked to please speak with someone else. The owner approached and stated she could take it off this time and this time only because someone has to pay for it. Not only is that an insult to my character because she does not know me and to assume I did this for any other reason besides their error was a slap in the face. Upon returning to my office, I looked at the website and realized the item had never been discounted in the first place. I am a single father raising 4 children and I still make it a point to support all local businesses (even the ones that charge an extra fee if you don't eat it there) every day during my lunch break. As a small business owner, I understand overhead but I also understand how to treat customers. I am literally on a first name basis with surrounding establishments because small businesses downtown know how much I support them and value them. I hope the owner sees this and honestly rethinks how you treat customers. Have a blessed day all

A late holiday season family get together was needed for my family. This was the first Christmas without my mom, who passed away on 9-19-23. We really needed a change of venue so we read the online reviews and met at 3pm on Saturday 1/20. This place is neat! The wood from wall to wall and solid wood flooring make it warm and inviting. There are wooden carvings and their bar stools are saddles....SADDLES! They have a full bar too. The restrooms have solid wood doors clear to the floor and were very accommodating for my disabled self. They put tables together for us and 13 of us sat together. Before we knew it we were munching on warm chips and salsa. Delicious! I had the Enchiladas Verde and they were fresh and tasty. They have not only Mexican food but regional favorites as well. My niece had a grilled cheese sandwich that was huge, yet light and fluffy. When our meal was finished our waitress let us have all the time we needed to visit and kept our drinks full. We had this restaurant on our list of places we wanted to try and I sure wish we had gone sooner! Such a nice place for the whole family. Yes they have a bar and the TVs .. which is great for game watching… but the place itself, the food and the atmosphere were all family friendly when we were there for a Tuesday dinner. They had a special on ala cart tacos so I had to try those .. yummy.. and added a chicken street taco… also very delicious. My hubby had the wet enchilada and he said it was terrific. I had to try his beans and rice and they were some of the best. Now … the chips and salsa… that they bring you with your order… absolutely delicious!!
