RJ’s Burgers & Ice Cream Co. — Restaurant in Jackson

Walked into this place for the first time, went up to order and they “had nothing available for their crazy shakes” after seeing another customer walk away with one. Then we ordered an item and the younger girl taking our order didn’t specify at all what kind of item it was I was getting because there were 4 different kinds of cheesecake cupcakes and I didn’t find that out after walking around the counter and seeing them for myself and guessing that that was what I was getting. Also after serving my husband his shake and then us waiting for another five minutes a different waitress asked what we were waiting for and I told her my item and them picked out what flavor I wanted, the lady who took our order out loud said “I forgot” about my item when it had only been a matter of ten minutes between us ordering, my husband getting his shake and then waiting some more for my item, all the while she was staring directly at me. Terrible service,...

I've been in twice. The owners are as charming as the shop! I didn't even care that it was almost 90 out and their A/C was down. Parking is a little bit of a mess with so many other businesses in the complex but it isn't a huge walk.

The cheesecakes are smoothly and have a rich buttery and moist crust. The curd was sharp and tangy, just what you expect from a key lime. The Turtle Milkshake, I forgot the actual name, was plenty for two. Seriously. The cost of $9 doesn't feel so bad if you share. You get several cookies and confections as well as an entire ice cream cone in this particular shake.

The shop is clean. Seriously clean! As soon as someone leaves the owners are wiping down the table and chairs.

Really hope this one makes it, Jackson needs a cute...

The service and atmosphere are both very welcoming and nice. The aroma when you enter is crazy good too, because this restaurant actually serves food, not just desserts! We would have ordered some food had we not been so stuffed after our AMAZING shakes we got. You can tell the employees love what they do as well, you will receive service with not only a smile, but again with kindness in a welcoming environment. 10/10 Would recommend anyone stop by here for either food or desserts. Definitely try the Birthday Cake or Cookie Dough Sundae! They're super delicious & packed with so many different candies and cookies 😍 Thanks again, looking forward to...
