The worst experience with pizza delivery ever. I ordered a pizza , a salad and a pop. I received a call from delivery guy saying his GPS sent him to a different address even though he told me my exact address so he knew what the correct address is. The conversation made no sense. He then shows up n hands me a pizza n was about to walk away. I told him I ordered a salad and pop too. His reply was that he had the pop in his car and that he did not see on receipt that there was a salad too. But why would he not have brought the pop up to me if he knew it was mine , makes no sense. On the receipt the pizza is listed first then the salad then the pop. If he saw the pizza and the pop then he had to have seen the salad too since it was smack dab in the middle of the two. He gave me my pop and then said he would be right back with the salad. I had initially waited to eat the pizza as I had ordered the salad with it therefore meaning to have it at the same time. Plus Howies is straight down the street from me not even 5 minutes away. After a half hour passed I decided to start eating the pizza as it was obviously going to be already getting cold , I also at that time , called Howies. I waited 14 minutes n 48 seconds before they answered the phone. That wait time is completely unacceptable. A business should at minimum answer the phone and tell the customer that they are busy and please wait a moment. The girl who answered didn't even know about my order then gave me to the shift leader who she actually called a manager. The shift leader acted as he didn't know anything about the order but then said that he did not know why the delivery guy had not come back with the salad yet but then I caught on to the fact he was talking to him in the background. I asked him how he didn't know why my salad was delivered if the delivery guy is stranded there with him and he still told me he didn't know. I could tell that he didn't even care. At this time it had been a full hour since the guy delivered my pizza. I received zero explanation of why he had not yet been back with my salad. I received zero sincerity to nor professionalism from this shift leader who was the highest ranked employee working at the time. He eventually told me the guy was then on his way to deliver my salad and he offered a full refund after I told him that the service was unexceptable. Another 15 minutes goes by and the guy delivers my salad saying he was sorry but didn't have a care in the world and no explanation to why it took over an hour. I continued to eat my pizza. Half way through my second piece I take a bite and feel hair. I pulled on it to see if it was mine but trust me it was not. This piece of hair is literally in the middle of the pizza and baked in . A soft tug and it doesn't even come out. I thought food service workers with long hair are suppose to wear there hair tied back back or in a net , apparently not at Howies though. Absolutely disgusting. Thanks for ruining my dinner Hungry Howies. To the top manager there , I've worked management before and I held my employees accountable and made sure customers were priority and I had high standards for how my business was being run. Read moreTried to explain to the manager on the phone that I had ordered a sub over the app and clicked no ranch, add mayo instead, and it must have not went through because there was ranch on the sub and the receipt did not show no ranch, meaning a glitch in the app. I asked if we could bring the sub back and have it replaced with a sub without ranch, since it was a mistake with their app, and I was told no because they made it how it was ordered. My boyfriend was talking to me in the background about what he wanted done with his food since it was his sub, and the manager had hung up on me. I tried to call back again, and she had an attitude with me, refused to replace the sub, and hung up on me AGAIN. Not the first time our food has been wrong or have gotten attitude from a worker. Plenty times and chances, and lots of patience ive had with this place, but in my opinion it's time to finally place a review. Missing toppings, not cooked all the way, attitude from workers and especially the 2 managers, skimping on toppings, all issues we've had with this place and have given it chance after chance... Not to mention you can clearly watch them make your pizzas where their pizza station sits wether your in the parking lot looking into the windows or at the ordering counter and registers, and they NEVER wear gloves when making your food, even when they've just came back in from having a cigarette or taking the trash...
Read morePoor excuse for customer service. I've been a good customer. I've always tipped well and been polite. Tonight I ordered 2 steak, cheese and mushroom calzones for pick up. I received mushroom and cheese. No steak on either sub. I called when it was discovered after I drove all the way back to Leoni township. I got hung up on 3 times. When I attempted to call back, they never answered the phone. I was not rude whatsoever. I was attempting to allow them to right their wrong. Apparently, I was mistaken that they appreciated hard earned money being spent at their business. I guess I was wrong. Such a shame because I'm going to miss their calzones while I spend my money elsewhere. P.S. this isn't the first time this location has been a disappointment. I just never attempted to bring it to someone's attention. Spend your money somewhere else is my recommendation to any current...
