DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY it's not worth the stress you will endure!!!
March 2024- my husband and I went into Ashley looking for a new mattress. Backstory we have been sleeping on an older mattress that's 15 + years and were getting the worst sleep of our lives! We had a wonderful salesman and after trying out countless beds ended up purchasing a $4,000 mattress (yes it was out of our budget but felt we were getting the best investment at the time). When we left the store that day the mattress wasn't going to be delivered until April 1st.
I got to call a couple days before April 1st from dispatch saying that our mattress was in and it was ready for delivery... Set up a delivery time for March 30th. I was ecstatic because it was going to be before the date they originally mentioned. Fast forward to Saturday before noon I get a call saying that my mattress is damaged and it is no longer going to be delivered and that a manager will be reaching out to me. A manager never reached out to me I had to reach out to them! I was so irate Im just wanted a refund at this point but the manager I spoke to was like let us do inventory and see if we have the mattress in the warehouse and someone will get back with you. I was supposed to give him until Monday 'because of the holidays'. Well Monday comes...no phone calls and it's going on noon so I call...there's no mattress they're telling me that they're getting a new truck shipment to the warehouse Tuesday and he will have the mattress sent out on a truck to me as soon as it comes in...okay cool, so I clear my schedule for Tuesday. So Tuesday comes and of course I have to call again to figure out what the heck is going on with my mattress... Every time I called they're just like the truck hasn't showed up yet and I'm just getting furious at this point. I was just making phone call after phone call trying to figure out what was going on with my mattress and I felt like I shouldn't have been left in this gray area for so long! So finally I was really ready to just be done with this place and then I talked with Sue (manager from Jackson) and she was the only person that made me feel seen. She took it and her hands to figure out what was going on uneven stated that I have made it more phone calls than I should have. So the shipment truck didn't even end up showing up until Wednesday afternoon and didn't get a call till 1:30ish from dispatch and they were saying that they weren't going to be able to deliver the mattress until Friday and I was like no.. that doesn't sit right with me not when I'm already supposed to have my mattress. She says that Thursday delivery is all booked and that I would have to wait until Friday. So I ended up scheduling it for Friday but that didn't sit right with me so I called Sue back and she called the head of the warehouse. And I got a call back saying that I would be put on a cancellation list that if anybody canceled for Thursday that I could have that spot then after that call I get a call shortly after saying there was a spot for Thursday... so I don't know what happened in between those two calls but apparently they got it figured out and thank goodness they did because I really wasn't wanting to wait until Friday!
Here we are Thursday, April 4th and my mattress is SUPPOSED to be delivered between 2:30 and 5:30 so pray for me that it shows up (unharmed)! š

That was the purchasing processā¦. This is afterā¦.. Ordered a couch with chaise, ottoman, and chair. Couch gets delivered with the wrong color chaise. Sounds like the chair was lost somewhere and I was told that I need to call the store and have them reorder it, and itās already been 4 weeks. Another 3 weeks later, I call the store and they have the chair ready for pick up. But delivery isnāt included because they only deliver one time! The day the couch was delivered it was an all day affair!! Now dealing with this!! The manager said heād make it right and we could stop into the store. Went in and he gave us a $200 credit. Well, ok, we spent $2,200, only got $225 in discounts to begin with, plus paid for delivery. But Iām trying to be nice! Pick out an accent table for $249 and rug $239. Purchased both off the floor. Get home and look online, the rug is on sale for $180 and the table for $110 not assembled. But we bought it off the floor, so the price should be the same as online!!!! So really, no, we did not get a $200 credit. I just called to find out when our chair is getting delivered and the person tells me they are waiting for the ottoman and table and rug!! What the heck!? We have those!!! Thatās when she told he that delivery is only one time! Are you kidding me!! No manager is working right now because itās 6:15pm! Again, itās retail, are you kidding me!!! And now here I am, BBB reviews, Google reviews, Bing Reviews. Wish I would have read these reviews before shopping there. I will make sure others do!!! No way someone spending over $2200 should get this kind of run around for 7 weeks!!! Or spend any money!!! We didnāt ask for any discounts, didnāt haggle, didnāt even...

Even though we are both younger adults, and I'm sure some people our age do a lot of browsing, we were really hoping to purchase a bed for our new home because we were sick of sleeping on the floor. Since we were not offered any help, we made our way around and found exactly what we wanted, then had to track someone down for help. Nobody would make eye contact with us, and when we would walk up and ask for help they would act as if we didn't exist, so we had to go to the back desk and speak with the manager, who then, proceeded to explain they were sorry and didn't know how to help us with what we needed, but would send someone to us right away. After an hour of waiting, we went back to the desk a bit annoyed, and finally got some assistance with our purchase, to then find out that the bed we wanted had to be ordered from a warehouse because they don't stock extras in the store. We were told the bed would come in 2-4 weeks and we ended up waiting 2 months for our bed.
Long story short, we will never be shopping at this establishment again. Very poor service to younger people, super long wait times, and quite expensive for the lack of quality this...
