Spent $400 here for a roller skating b-day party for my son. The party itself was $278 plus $80 for 4 pizzas and 2 pitchers of pop. Then we loaded up the arcade cards with extra tokens.
Here’s the reason for the 2 star review.
The pizza they serve is clearly frozen store bought pizza. Very small and horrible quality. They really should work with a local pizza joint to take that over for them. It seems like they could work out a deal to get a small cut of the sales. Or even if they didn’t make anything from the food sale, at least the customer would be happier. They definitely would still make their money elsewhere.
The DJ was lackluster playing outdated songs at very low volume, and didn’t have any of the colorful lights or disco ball going half the time. It just didn’t feel like she was bringing the party at all like you’d come to expect at a skating rink. Especially considering there were 3 birthday parties going on at the time.
The arcade was a waste of money. The kids kept tapping the game card and the machine wouldn’t work but take their tokens.
We definitely won’t do another birthday party here again. The food alone makes us not want to do that again. For the money you spend you’d expect better.
I gave two stars because the kids did have fun skating, and the staff was nice and accommodating.
Hopefully they consider serving better pizza, fix the arcade, and take the DJ job...
Read moreI just had my daughter's 9th birthday party on Saturday and it was horrible first when you get there you are not allowed in the party area until it is your 1 hour of time and I mean 1 hour of time to eat drink open presents and eat cake no ice cream is allowed and apparently no children that do not skate are allowed in the party area so the kids only get 1 hour to drink even though the party is for 3 hours they just hurry you along. And worse of all my friends daughter got hurt in the laser tag she is 8 and needed 3 stitches and no employee even cared or bothered to help and I never received any type of follow up to see if she was ok they were so quick to blame her and say "she was running and you are not supposed to run" every kid in laser tag was running. PLEASE be mindful and do research before booking this for your party its expensive I paid $400 for 12 kids it's over priced and dangerous if I could do it over I would. They had 2 tables set up nothing for the parents and when they told me that only kids that have a wristband and skating are allowed I thought well where should my 2 year old go and 4 year old and my friend brought her 3 year old son how ridiculous. They just push you along. When my friend took her daughter to med plus by all skate they told her that they keep them in business. DONT BOOK YOUR PARTY THERE THATS...
Read moreBeen a regular for weeks now and I will not be returning. I have spent alot of money here and have had nothing but respect for all staff members and skaters. First off, the skates are in horrible condition and are not taken care of, some even have bad straps or plastic that sticks into your feet, with all pairs of skates having a god awful smell. but second, some of the staff are strait up rude. I am a skilled skater who knows when and how to stop, I do not put other skaters at harm even if I sometimes can get close to others. But the manager in particular was nothing but rude. She proceeded to tell me that "people were complaining about me" or "you can't go fast and cut people off if you do do not know how to stop" while she was the only one who had a problem with me and I clearly showed her I could stop the numerous times I was stopped by staff for explaining the situation to my friends that were with me. Overall if the manager had been more polite and maybe had given a nice verbal "slow down" or some kind of warning before escalating the situation to what it became, she probally wouldn't have scared off another customer. Please spend your money elsewhere, there are much better places to skate. Childish of you manager, you know...
