I was challenged by my friend to try to do the majority of my grocery shopping at Aldi in attempt to gauge true savings. I'm a bargain/coupon/sale shopper and have a pretty good idea on the cheapest I can buy items for as well as quality. In the past, I shied away from purchasing groceries at Aldi's due to a fear of low-quality and foreign products. She assured me to look up their website and read about the changes that they've made in the past 5 years or so. Aldi does not provide products with certain dyes, gmos, ect. So, I figured I didn't have much to lose. I started by creating my grocery list and including an estimated price for each item based on what I could likely purchase it for on sale or with coupon from another store. Then, I went to my local Aldi store and purchased everything plus a few other things(that I believed to be good deals as long as they tasted well). After checkout I was amazed! I had expected to spend $135 and my total had only came to $89! Still a little leary, I waited to make my final decision until we had tasted and ate my purchases. I am pleased to report I took the Aldi challenge, loved the quality of products, have been back a few more times since, still loving it, saved over $50 on my last grocery expenditure and am now a loyal Aldi customer. I highly recommend shopping for most of your grocery needs at Aldi and challenge you to track your savings vs quality at your local Aldi. I would like to add that the bathrooms were very clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and my husband loves there chewy chocolate chip cookies!....OH! and bring your own bags or use empty boxes in store. Also, a quarter inserted into cart for cart use...you will get back quarter when you return the cart after shopping. ...

Store was clean and stocked , i had over 100$ worth of groceries in my cart , along with the 5 other people in the only cashier line. This poor girl working the cashier lane was not only helping the long line her self, but also running the self check out, and running back to aisles to help other customers. Not a single other employee on the sales floor but looked like 3 authority figures chatting away in an office right next to the long line of customers and the employee who was again running the whole store herself. And she did great! for the circumstances she was under, and coming from a retail worker that’s in leadership , she is better than me .
But as a customer , i do not expect to wait 30+ min in a five person line , that is only long because the only employee is being forced to go back n forth all ends of the store to help every other customer. And the fact that she was handling it all so well tells me she’s used to it .
And i refuse to take my attitude out on the girl who’s only doing her best , and of course refuse to support a business that treats there employees with...

Why is it so hard to hold a store accountable for missing products when u pay full price and are expecting everything to be inside the box! At this rate they shouldn’t even have a customer service number as the guy hardly knew English and couldn’t comprehend anything I was trying to tell him and most aldis employees are MIA for in stores so I guess going forward I have learned my lesson no more ALDIS FINDS...
