This location is 5 minutes from my office. If it wasn't, I would have stopped going months ago. One month ago, I had said I would never go to this location again. It took 42 minutes to receive my food when the restaurant wasn't even half full. Two weeks ago, I was craving some McAlisters, but I didn't want to waste my lunch break waiting on food, so, I placed an order via the app 10 minutes before I planned to be there. When I arrived, I told the pick up cashier that I had placed my order via the app and showed her where I paid. I then had to wait 50 minutes before my food was ready. I only get 60 minutes for my lunch break, and it takes 5 minutes to get there. I then told myself that I would never go to this location again, and placed a review with their corporation about the poor repeated service. Flash forward to today. I stupidly thought that the corporation would have done something to correct the problems at this McAlisters by now, so I ventured out again. What a mistake! It took 40 minutes to receive my order for half a sandwich and a salad. The past three times, I have asked about my food at the 30 minute mark, and all three times, I have been told it was almost ready. Not one of those times has a manager ever apologized to anyone about the time it takes to get food here. Every time I go, everyone in the restaurant is sitting with no food, looking at their watches, and complaining about the wait for food. Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE!!! Need to be reported to the health department among other agencies. I witnessed the girl behind the counter tell a customer, who was not an employee, to come and fix her own drink and she did! I watched as this person walked behind the counter, grabbed their own cup, scoop it in the ice, and fix their own drink without washing their hands not once. During this time someone walked in with their previous order which apparently was wrong. She then asked that same customer to grab that person's order and send it to the back. This person is not a McAlister's employee. I know this because while I was waiting for the actual employee to take my order, which took way too long, they were sitting there holding a casual conversation as if she was not at work and during this conversation is when I heard the customer talking about her job at Papa John's which is right next door. I did a formal complaint to McAlister's corporate office and the manager emailed me back. Apparently this is a common for McAlister's because he was not at all surprised and said that he knew who I was talking about and that he has banned her from the store before, but the issue is not the customer. Read moreI had already written this McAllisters off years ago due to its TERRIBLE customer service, very long wait times, and their inability to get an order right 3-4 years ago but today I had a craving so I decided to give them another chance. I walked in and the line to order was backed up all of the way to the door but I had a craving so I figured that I’d wait and just eat while I work since my entire lunch break will be waiting on getting the food……. Once I finally got up to the front to put in my order 25 minutes later (with nobody in front of my receiving their food yet) I was told that they are not taking orders anymore and everyone in line was asked to leave. I’m diabetic and took my insulin before my meal like I’m suppose to do but now my entire break has been wasted and my blood sugar is low and I’m stuck at work with no food. Hopefully someone will bring me food or I will be calling an ambulance. I decided after years to give this McAllisters a second chance but obviously they are just as bad as ever. Corporate needs to either shut this store down completely or fire everyone and start from scratch but even if they do that then they won’t be able to trick me into setting foot in this...
