I entered the restaurant and had to wait for the employees to make a bunch of online orders before even starting my order. My coworkers and I come in every Monday for the Moe’s Monday deal. Once we had our orders, the cashier was very rude and had an attitude in regards to figuring out how to apply the QR code for Moe’s Monday. After watching the employee get angry and try to get me to pay full price without my Monday coupon, I proceeded to ask her to try again. When the employee finally got it to work, I thought the inconvenience was finally done and I was going to be able to enjoy my burrito. Upon walking off with my burrito, a different male employee stopped me and said that I still owed money on the meal. I had my receipt and I was ready to eat. I even showed him the receipt. He the doubled down and showed me on his copy the amount that was subtracted off of the meal because of the Moe’s Monday deal and insisted that I still owed that amount. After realizing that he didn’t understand how the discount worked and that he wasn’t going to leave me alone about paying for the meal in full; I promptly asked for a refund of the amount that I had already paid. I come in for Moe’s Monday, and I expect to be able to take advantage of the deal. So this in turn causes a temper tantrum in he and the female cashier. They then proceed to call some unidentified at the time manager who was not there. They held me up for another twenty minutes before they tell me that I should receive my refund within the next hour. I then leave, and I went to subway instead. It is now a full week after the experience and the money was never refunded. It seems that there was a real lacking of training at this location as they knew nothing of how to apply the deals, or basic math. Food: seasoned rice had super hard pieces throughout it. Bought 3 regular cups ($2.49+tax) for tea, which I had to wait for, didn’t mind! Noticed that the food wasn’t up to par and was ready for my drink. Went to see that the tea wasn’t ready, still , but opted for bottled drinks instead. Bought 3 bottled drinks ($3.49+tax) & asked if I could pay the difference between the bottle and the cup, and the manager (black shirt guy) must’ve couldn’t comprehend what I asked and I still ended up paying for 3paper cups and 3 bottled drinks ($20+) while DINING IN FOR DRINKS AND THE FOOD WAS $56 !!! watched my mans put his hand in the picture of tea to stir it and I just know I only saw the fixer wear gloves! 😅
Service: they do not greet! They look at you and see that you may be confused, they don’t ask questions. Manager on duty seem to be really irritated with today not sure if it’s personal problems or job related. But he sure ain’t give me my money back from them damn drinks ! 🤣 hope his day/ week gets better !
Atmosphere: as usual, it’s empty inside , which I love!
There’s a smoothie king next door. as I sit and write this review , I see why this restaurant is probably always empty. That smoothie king Jump, said these locals must know something about Moe’s, that is out of towners don’t 🤣 The customer service is poor , and their food is subpar . I’ve come 3 times and each time I’ve gotten something DIFFERENT!

My daughter had a steak burrito BUT my wife had a chicken burrito. 3 hours later my wife was violently vomiting ! MOES SERVED BACTERIA LADEN CHICKEN. I did not see one thermometer in any of their holding bins! I believe that they allowed that chicken to sit on the line and did not hold it at 165° therefore allowing bacteria to grow in the chicken. AFTER about an hour violently vomiting it started coming out the other end. diarrhea like water ! Definitely FOOD POISONING ! I WILL NEVER GO TO MOES IN JACKSON MISSISSIPPI AGAIN, My daughter goes to Belhaven University and I will not allow her to go there either. I WARN YOU …. Do not risk your life by eating at Moes !
