I gave 3 stars but its more because of the online orders and deliveries we have placed through Jackson, TN HD website. The staff are friendly here. But, it's also the ONLY HD for 100 miles from where we live so this is an all afternoon event when we travel to Jackson. The deliveries were nothing but trouble. Damaged appliances, 1 after the other and their in store ordering caused problems because their system doesn't recognize our USPS approved address despite their app accepting it... that is ridiculous.. Delayed pick ups caused us to have to wait for weeks or in some cases well over a month for the credit to come back to our card and the store wouldn't accept appliance returns (like a damaged microwave) because it was ordering through their app. Constant emails, calls to their Appeasement line, the store, and HD.com customer service. Took about 3 months from time of original purchases until they finally delivered appliances (without damage )and picked up everything they were supposed to. The delivery service is 3rd party amd 3rd rate in some cases. However, out of the 8 or so delivery driver(s)we dealt with, the majority were very kind, careful and hard working. As a former ASM, and after spending tons of money, we won't be ordering any other appliances from this store. But, the Dept Supervisor in Appliances and Cindy were very friendly and extremely customer service centric and helped as much as they could. Had it not been for them helping us towards the end we would have cancelled our remaining items and gone to Lowes at that time. Read moreSo walked in the entrance with my cart with paint to return. Stood at the return desk. Finally asked, "am I in the wrong line ?" Cashier was also waiting on customers buying items coming the other way. Then she looked in my cart and said, "Oh, paint....I gotta call someone". So a woman showed up after a few minutes and tipped up one of the paint cans ! I said, "Be careful, that one has been opened". She tried beating on the lid with screwdriver, then took the can of paint and left after telling me you know this is pre-mixed, right ? " (Well, yeah, I ordered it online because the store does not carry it - Behr Alkyd Enamel). I saw the woman was going to the paint desk. So I followed her. Returns cashier was still waiting on buying customers. When I got to the paint desk, she said (loudly), "You did not need to follow me here...go back where you were." I had enough. I left the store without my refund. $72.00 and the paint was terrible. It was ordered online because the store did not stock it. I attempted to paint cupboards with it. I have a lot of experience painting. New wood, sanded, primed, sanded, painted, dried properly, sanded, painted, dried, steel wool, etc. Three times and five weeks later - paint is still sticky. The drawers and doors are sticking. Now I need to re-sand and paint with proper paint. So this entire job was a fiasco. Will never go to Home Depot here again. Nor order anything online. Read moreI bought a shed kit using Home Depot website a month ago. The shed arrived one month earlier, no notice at all. Home Depot's app is actually showing it as "processing" still. It was delivered yesterday in the afternoon, no previous call to confirm if someone was in the house, no knocking the door, no asking where to put it, nothing. The guy just parked on the side of my street and started unloading the package. We were just watching TV and realized that there was something happening when we heard the sound of one of the boxes hitting the street (which, of course, that damaged one of the pieces). When we go to see what was going on, the guy says "no signature required"... my man, "WE ARE NOT EVEN SURE IF THAT PACKAGE IS FOR US!! WHAT THE HECK IS THAT??" When we realized that it was the shed, the guy was already gone... leaving those two big boxes on the street, ready to kill someone. We immediatelly started calling Home Depot and aftert 1 hour of several "We will call you in 15 min to see what we can do" they told us "there is nothing we can do, this is the shed company number, good luck"... SERIOUSLY HOME DEPOT???? You seriously expect from me to believe there is NOTHING you can do? NOTHING??
