Nestled in a little shop front about twenty feet wide and off the path from the interstate is this food diner which serves an excellent steak or chicken composition for your taste buds. What a treat awaits every visiting patron.
When we entered, I noticed the staff put on fresh gloves and went to their stations. One of the staff greeted us and took our order as the others began preparing the sandwiches we ordered. A very polite staff treat every visitor with courtesy and each other with respect.
As I finished our purchase and we retrieved our Cokes at the refill station, I noticed the care they were taking with our food order. The staff went straight to work at the grill, at the fry station and at the trimmings station for the final toppings on the sandwiches.
The care and precision with which they went to work was a smooth process which was practiced and perfected by the staff. We sat where we could observe our meals being prepared behind the glass at the grill. The grill was sizzling as our sandwiches were prepared before our very eyes. The bun was toasted on the grill beside our sandwich fixings. The aroma was delightful.
When the sandwiches were completed, the staff delivered them to us. The presentation of the meal was as impressive as the food preparation itself. The beauty was only superceded by the aroma and taste which followed eat savory bite.
The staff was busy between orders preparing the supplies to replenish the sandwich fixin's. They remained alert and paid attention to the visitors entering the restaurant. "Welcome to Steak Escape," was the greeting everyone received.
I observed a man and his young son come in to place a qtake out order. They waited as their food was prepared with the same diligence. Our meals finished, we were each full and could eat no more. Such a wonderful evening with my boys and I got to share a good evening with your staff in Jackson, TN.
Thank you for the good food, for a clean atmosphere and a clean environment to enjoy our evening together. We appreciate and can recommend your establishment to any and all who are looking for a good place to eat and enjoy each...
Read moreThis is a new location in Jackson, so we tried it out. There were a few in line in front of us, but they took our order fairly quick. However, it took forever to get our food. They were not organized at all. The person cutting the potatoes was having a real hard time and couldn't keep up and the person cooking the fries could barely pick up the basket. When our food finally came, we didn't have any fries. The server said they were behind and would bring our fries asap... I noticed that they fixed at least 2 orders to go before bringing our fries, but at least they were hot. The food was good, but whoever laid out the building needed some serious help. My wife could not reach the lids for our drinks because of the set up, then we overheard the person sitting next to us complaining about getting ketchup on his shirt while trying to get a lid. I had to get ours, and it was a serious reach AROUND the ketchup to get a lid!! People had been throwing trash on top of where they kept the little cups for the ketchup, because it was not clearly marked... My wife noticed one of the workers taking the trash out, but leaving the cups in there. Then she gathered up loose lids for the cups that were scattered around the small counter and put them back in the rack. Hopefully things will improve. The food was good, the servers were going as hard as they could go, but the management needs to get their...
Read moreSpent over $50 to get narrow, thin sandwiches and fries that taste like baby food. I should have made these at home myself. How does the order get rung up correctly but made incorrectly? The workers/cooks on 9/23/22 @ 8:17pm can not read or did not care to. We were way to tired to turn around and get the sandwiches fixed when we got home. Usually, we check our order before we leave any establishment but again, we were tired. No fixings just meat. Pitiful. Servers and service should have been alot better. A young man rung us up on the register with greasy gloves. I did mention it to him. I said, "Do you want to change your gloves." He said, "No." At least he took them off and washed his hands afterwards, but I feel he only did that because I said something to him. It was uncomfortable watch. A young woman and young man was flirting when they should have prepared my sandwiches with some love. Another young man, held our order out, whilst I was talking to my husband with my back turned and he did not say a word. He just stood there looking; no excuse me or ma'am, nothing. It was my husband who noticed him after a moment. My husband called this establishment to see if there could be something done about our order the next visit, but no one answered nor could a voicemail be left because the box was full. It has been since 2018, since we last ate there as a family. Now, I remember why we...
