I use to come to this restaurant 3-4 times per week and loved it. The food is still amazing. I haven’t been by in a month or two and I just got home with my food. When I went in there was an entire new staff of workers and they were not very good at all. The previous staff was amazing and kind from day 1. The new staff made it obvious that they did not want to be there, I ordered my usual meal (minus my usual bagel because they were out which I completely understand). Whatever employee that I dealt with eventually got my order right after having to correct it multiple times. Chicken salad with bagel chips and an extra pickle with a Diet Coke. She hand picked through the pickles to get the 2 smallest pickles (2.5in or so long each) and tried to give me the wrong chips 3 times. When she finally gave me my bagel chips I just got home and realized that she literally put 4 chips in the bag. I’m not sure if that is company policy now or if she was doing it on purpose since (like I said she looked through the pickles to hand pick the 2 smallest in the entire container). Needless to say a customer that use to come 3-4 times per week and couldn’t be here for a couple of months but I’m finally able to start coming and bringing y’all business again but I will not be returning for quite a while if ever. I’m not sure why she would have singled me out to give me the worst of the worst but she did. I love beagle bagel but that was by far the worst experience that I’ve ever had there and I feel extremely unappreciated as a customer. I’m sorry for the bad review but it was extremely bad service this time around. I’m now about to leave my house to go to Wendy’s because I’m not full from obviously being purposefully given a very skimp meal. I paid for a meal, not a sandwich. Oh and the man behind me had to ask her to give me my cup...

The second time I visited, the person taking orders completely skipped me and my guest’s orders and assisted people behind us. I thought to myself “Maybe it’s just a mistake.” That was about three months ago. I visited the establishment again this week, and ordered some desserts. The cookies were fine, but the birthday flavor cake was inedible and downright disgusting. It was exceptionally dry and tasted as if it were prepared in the same cooking tools that had been used to handle meat. And to make matters worse, the cake appeared to be “fresh” as I got the first slice… If that’s fresh, l can’t imagine how it tastes when it’s not fresh. My friend had the strawberry cake and described it as a “weird” taste. I’d encourage the baker to stick to cookies and brownies. Cakes are not their forte. Doubt I’ll be returning again anytime soon. On a brighter note, their bagel sandwiches are good.
This place is so good that it’s bad (for me). WOW! The turkey sandwich on an Asiago cheese bagel is divine. And the desserts are amazing! I’d only intended to eat one today and the other tomorrow, but after eating the sugar cookie with buttercream icing and realizing how increíble it tastes, I just had to try the other dessert which is like a marriage between a brownie and a cake. I’ve forgotten what it’s called, but it is definitely worth the calories! I have to pace myself in a place like this because everything is ridiculously delicious. I’ve previously ordered a club sandwich on croissant which was also perfect. I strongly recommend it, but try not to get carried away with eating all of delicious food and desserts...
Read moreThe details: My family and I went in for a late breakfast while traveling to see family. It was our first visit to Beagle Bagel.
The short: The atmosphere is great, the service is awesome, but I wouldn't go back unless I had a group of friends who voted against me.
The Long: The atmosphere is pretty chill and the design of the place is really nice. We walked in and it took us about 5 minutes to decide what we wanted. The staff was really patient and offered to answer any questions we had.
I got a cinnamon raisin bagel with the honey walnut cream cheese and a slice of bacon quiche; coffee to drink. The bagel was really dense (I know they're supposed to be, but these seemed like they were under proofed or over boiled) it was also kinda small but priced well for it's size, $1.25. adding cream cheese added $2. The quiche was awesome! If this was a quiche shop it would get 4 stars. The coffee (house brew/I drink it black no sugar) tasted like something I would get at a Pilot or other "nice" truck stop. It wasn't bad, but not anything steller.
My wife got a cranberry nut bagel with regular cream cheese. Again, the bagel was too dense, and although I could see the cranberries, the bagel really just tasted like a whole grain bagel.
Like I said in the short, we probably want be returning to Beagle Bagel, but on the off chance that we do, I'll probably just order two...
