Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Jackson

Poor experience at this location. I ordered through the drive through since it is the only option. I ordered a 4 piece chicken strip meal and a grilled chicken sandwich with no Mayo. After repeating the order to the person at order box, I pull through and was handed a sack. The grilled sandwich had Mayo so I sent it back (they took it back through the window and threw it away and made a new sandwich with no Mayo). In the meantime, we discovered that the 4 piece strip meal was actually a 3 piece. I told the young lady at the window we ordered a 4 piece and was changed for the additional strip. She told me they cannot take the meal back (which I was fine with because I just really wanted the one additional strip, and was a bit confused because they had just taken my grilled sandwich back). Instead of simply giving me the additional 1 strip that I had paid for, they handed me an additional 4 piece meal. In short, both items I ordered were incorrect and they remade the entire order, taking half of it back and throwing it away. I don’t understand how a business can stay open with such poor attention to orders. Good ole Friday worked hard all week , treat the family to zabys ! Wellllllll ordered our food $45 worth headed to the window a gentleman takes my money and proceeds to hand me our kid meal drinks , I politely ask for a cup holder, “we are out” wellll alright what about a lid that fits sir this drink is leaking ? “ we are out” so I said can we please just pour the amount from all three kids sprites into a larger cup once at home I’ll divide it ! Well he closes window and a manager comes out and says “mam if I give u a medium cup and lid I’ll run out “ like really ?!?! I paid for drinks for three small children to hold and obviously since you don’t have cup holders -and drinks with coffee lids that don’t fit , I can’t go down the road like this . Needless to say she was apologetic but reminded me it wasn’t her problem her big boss knew they ran out . Mam clearly it is your problem I’m a paying customer and just communicating the problem prior to my order we could have improvised or upgraded those drinks ! • 2nd update* I forgot to update again. I did get to speak with Christy, the GM. She was very sweet and accommodating. She had them remake my order for me to pick up after work. When I got there, they had waited to make them until I showed up, so it was fresh. Everything was very good and the manager on duty was very sweet as well. Thank you, Christy and team!!!

update I have tried contacting them several times. Either the GM is not there or they just don't answer the phone.

I ordered online to pick up after work. Got there and sat in line at the drive through for 25 min with only 3 cars in front of me. They were doing one car at a time from speaker to food then go back to the speaker. I saw a few leave and one got out of line and parked to go in and was still there when I left. Now as for the food. I spend $60 on regular wings and they the worst chicken wings I've ever had. They were so overcooked and tough you couldn't hardly eat them and tasted like cardboard, even with the sauce, and the skin was so rubbery you had to try to peel it off because you couldn't chew it.
