As a non-Tennessean that grew up with CiCi's Pizza, this place is terrible for me in comparison. The price for a buffet both child and adult is very high and adding a drink makes it worse! There's no reason why I spent over $20 for two adults with drinks and at CiCi's it's $12.
The taste of the food fell flat upon me as well, but again, I'm comparing this to what I grew up with. CiCi's may be garbage and I've developed a taste for garbage, but I'll take that over this thick, sauceless bread Snappy served me. My specialty pizza to order is zesty (alfredo sauce) pepperoni with pineapple (it belongs on pizza folks!). They don't serve/make personal pans here like CiCi's, so it went on the buffet. It was also pretty sauceless. Their cinnamon roll equivalent was also pretty lackluster.
Lastly, though I understand I've apparently moved to the Bible Belt, the Christian music that played seemed really unfair for what I was told is a diverse crowd of residents in this tiny town. I'm Christian myself, but I don't need His message forced on others. I wish they would've just played some pop, classical, or even just kiddie songs. Anything would have felt less awkward for the mixed-religion party I went and tried this place with.
So, for being the pizza buffet in town I have to say I'll simply make the hour trip to Germantown's CiCi's. The gas alone will match what I'd pay at Snappy's but at least my experience and the taste will be better. I'm glad the locals at least can handle the cost and taste of this place, because I doubt you'd last more than a month in...
Read moreAlways good food but encountered some bad service. Have Covid and Ordered a pizza there online. Thought they had a curbside but it turned out the sign just designates their parking. Get there and realized this! We already paid so we called them to see if they could still bring it out and put it on the hood of our vehicle. The employee said they didn’t do curbside but would ask. Only for the employee to leave us on the phone and a manager or whoever she asked a (middle aged blonde woman)to talk about how “ridiculous we were” and then you could hear another employee ask what it was and the woman goes to throwing up her hands shouting there was people with Covid that ordered pizza and want us to bring it to them and kept rambling on about it like we were robbing them. They finally agreed to make it a one time thing and placed it on the hood. I get they don’t have curbside and that was our fault but to be treated that way is...
Read moreDon't think you could find a better pizza buffet here in Madison County. The variety was a little light tonight but it was still enough to keep the palate satiated. A few meat as well as vegetable combinations were dropped hot on the bar as soon as an opening hit. The salad bar was small and well arranged with colorful, fresh toppings, crisp mixed green lettuces and tasty dressings. The whole place is small and tonight even being almost elbow to elbow with patrons the ladies kept table service that rivals any diner ever. After consuming 2 full salad plates and 3 plates filled with every variety pizza I saw hit the bar, it's worth every bit the price. Lastly, the dessert by the time I ambled my way to the far side only one lonely slice of each the Apple Pie and Cherry Pie remained, even being the last of the bunch were still pretty delicious. Next time I'll watch closer for...
