Absolute worst experience ever. We were the only table there and the waitress came to our table and took the drink orders and took 15 minutes to bring them and they were wrong which things happen so not a big deal. The issue was we ordered a small rib platter and a large rib platter. It took 45 minutes and seeing a to go order placed, made, and received by someone else for us to get someone’s attention to let them know we were leaving and then our waitress said that an order was made but they were out of ribs and had to make more meaning one order was just sitting under a heat lamp. Instead of giving the courtesy of letting us know, our waitress never came out but could be heard giggling and socializing. We would have changed our order had she taken time to acknowledge us. Then to top it off she acted like we were offensive by leaving. Everything was terrible and I would never act in the manner the staff was working tonight, particularly our waitress. Read moreI’m not a BBQ fan myself, but my step daughter and her husband (new parents) were at the hospital and were hungry. On our way to see our new grand baby, we picked up their take out order. It took us a little longer than expected to get to Bono’s. The cashier called to verify that the order had been placed at the correct location and we were still coming to pick it up.
When we arrived for pick up… everything was already bagged and waiting except the beverages. I confused the cashier by ordering an additional beverage which seemed to really throw her off her game. Another employee had to come explain to her that I just needed another beverage and needed to pay for it. Not sure what the disconnect was, but we got it all figured out after a few laughs.
The new parents devoured their dinner which, I’m positive, was better than the hospital food they would’ve had to eat!
If I had to complain about anything… the smell of the restaurant would be top of my list! The smokiness just overwhelms people as they enter the building, not just this location, tho!...
Read moreI placed online order for 20 wings. My husband picked up order arrived home and there was only 9 wings. We immediately called Bonos at Bartram Park and my husband spoke with the cashier that retrieved his order. The guy first was insulting. At that point I lost my appetite for anything Bonos and we requested a refund for the food we did not receive. We were then told that he could not figure out how to issue a refund since the order was placed online through a contracted company. Bonos you contracted with this online ordering company. How is it the consumer's burden when first your employees make a mistake and second you contracted with a service provider that your employees are not familiar with their product. There was no attempt at service recovery just bad service magnified and multiplied. I will not return to this or any Bonos establishment again. I will also encourage others not to do so. The truth of the matter is the Pig's barbecue is much better and I can get better wings with better service from just about...
