Brothers bbq & soul food — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Lawd have mercy, lemme tell you 'bout Brothers BBQ! Now, I've had my share of barbecue in my time, from backyard cookouts to fancy restaurants. But Brothers? Brothers is somethin' else. It's like they got a direct line to heaven, and the angels themselves are smokin' that meat. First off, the smell hits you 'fore you even get in the door. That sweet, smoky aroma, it just wraps around you like a warm hug on a Sunday morn. You know somethin' good is about to happen. I ordered the ribs, fall-off-the-bone tender, honey. And the sauce? Oh, that sauce! Sweet and tangy with a little kick, just enough to make you wanna slap yo' mama (but don't actually do that!). It clung to the ribs like a gospel song to your soul. I swear, I licked my fingers clean and then licked em some moe. My grandma would've been proud. And the sides! Don't even get me started on the mac and cheese. Creamy, cheesy, with that little bit of baked crust on top. It's the kind of mac and cheese that makes you wanna close your eyes and moan. And the collard greens? Seasoned to perfection, just the right amount of salty and savory. They taste like they were cooked with love by somebody's granny. Now, let me tell you 'bout the folks who work there. They're all smiles and friendly as can be. They treat you like family, like you've been comin' there for years. You can tell they put their heart and soul into that food, and it shows. So, if you're ever lookin' for some real, down-home, finger-lickin' good BBQ, you gotta go to Brothers. Tell 'em Big Mama sent you. You won't be disappointed. It's so good, it'll make you wanna shout hallelujah! Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I need to go back for some...

Not really sure if its just a glitch or what, but I paid for an order that was around $75 and when we got there, the place was temporally closed....and this was for over $75...and prior to this, with delivery service, the order was cancelled automatically, exchanging three different people, not sure why, because I did not know it was cancelled, until Uber Eats chat support said it. Mind you, this was all in the same day. So, like I said, not sure if its a crazy glitch, or what, but stating online that the business is open, and after placing the order, and going to pick it up, and the business is saying that it is temporally closed....something is not making sense....please make it make sense....while I wait to collect back my funds from Uber (asking for proof that the place is closed, even after calling themselves and to call them back 20 or 90 minutes per guidelines as so the estimated time would have expired and then she could help me retrieve the funds....I am not a happy camper about this whole unfortunate, unwanted...

They have a great crew of good cooks. I remember getting a plate a week or so before they opened. Delicious. And again just as it was yesterday. Delicious. Hit the spot., had ribs the first time, had me hiding in my car,.so as not to have to share with anyone at home. Shame on me. Oh well. Same as this time, I drove around eating my catfish sandwich. Yes, just as good. Leave the onions and pickles on mine, please. That's just fine. Alittle bit of a wait, but that's okay. After all, happy to wait for quality, Best catfish sandwich I've had.
