Slow service as usualI had the misfortune to eat at the Burger King on argyle Forrest Blvd today. I have had poor experiences at this location in the past, and have not been there for a few years. However it is the one most convenient to my home and I wanted a Whopper. When I got there, I had plenty of room to park because there were no cars in the parking lot and only one car pulling into the drive through. Mind you, the McDonalds, and Wendys on either side have a line wrapped around the building. I notice this a lot and wonder how Burger King has survived. Anyway, I ordered a Whopper Combo, with onion rings. By the way, I paid more than the huge plate of food and appetizer I bought at Panda Express the night before. I placed my order at 5:44pm and it took 9 minutes to get my food. Even with the 9 employees I counted behind the counter. Keep in mind, I am the only customer in the lobby, and there is one car that placed an order in the drive through. While waiting on my food I walk over to the Freestyle machine to get my drink and it is nearly empty of all of the major items. No Coke? So I mention this to the manager, and he fills my drink at the drive through window. I will admit while I ate one of the employees came out to check the machine. By the time he was done, I saw him replace at least a dozen of the drinks in the machine. The surprises just keep coming. Of the 9 employees, all of which I saw in contact with unwrapped food. Only 2 have hats, and one of them don't get close to containing his hair. There are NO hair nets to be seen. And there is a lot of hair. My understanding is this is a requirement of the health code. And last but not least, The Whopper looks good, but as I take my first bite it is not even warm. It is barely warmer than the lettuce and tomato on the burger. And the patty is over cooked? Old? Because it is dry. No moisture. Needless to say I was not pleased. I find these are the same things I have pointed out about this location to the local manger, and on a survey in the past. Obviously, I now know why it is empty. And can't imagine ever returning to...

Read moreThis has got to be hands down the worst Burger King in all of Jacksonville like all of Duval county... I don't care what day it is. What time it is when you come here you wait. You sit at the order window and you wait and then they tell you to pull around and wait at the first window and you have four cars behind you and you're just sitting here going on 10 minutes now and no one's even come to take payment.. this store desperately needs new management like a full revamp of new management because it doesn't matter the day or the time that you come here. I just don't understand what's happening in the store... There's only one car in the parking lot so it's not like the lobby is busy.... But yet oh now five cars and you just had another car pulled off because it's frustrating.. it's just burgers and fries. What is going on in there???? I honestly feel like this community needs an explanation to what is happening inside of this restaurant! I'm not even going to finish this review until I can tell you how long I've actually waited to get one double cheeseburger and a four-piece mozzarella fry... So here we are. It took a total of 17 minutes to get a double cheeseburger and mozzarella fries. The girl at the window told me to go to the first window and wait for her there. Then she's at the second window flagging me to pull forward. Asks me how my night is going.... I tell her it was going great until I just sat for 17 minutes for a double cheeseburger and fries. Her response to me was quote on quote "well At least your fries are hot". So you're telling me that it takes 17 minutes to make some mozzarella fries. That's what you're telling me. And now I'm sitting here with a cold cheeseburger... Please someone make it make sense... Absolutely disgusting and people should be held accountable for this stuff. They shouldn't just be able to treat customers like this and continue to get away with it and continue to even work there if they don't want to work in customer service. If they don't want to do the job then so be it go...
