UPDATE: 3* to 4* rating (3/5/19) I've visited a few more times lately to see if there have been more improvements in speediness and food quality. Speed has improved to my avg wait time being under 5minutes when not busy and under 10 when busy. Burgers are much jucier and fresher tasting. Staff is friendly and will small talk/engage with you. I'm really excited that this place is finally making a turn around for the better!!! Now to come try out breakfast!
UPDATE: 1* to 3* rating 2 Days later (Fri) I arrived for dinner @5:15pm. Order received within 25min. I had some special requests on a Whopper- kitchen staff made it as written on ticket. I see more employees are remaining at their stations and working to ensure each order is made correctly -though still a slow pace. Burger patties are a bit dry, but this is much more progress than I expected. Will update next week! Before you read this, please understand that I am in no way blaming the hourly employees for this poor rating. This rating goes to the MANAGEMENT/CORPORATE-whomever was in charge of preparing these employees before this restaurant opened... I have worked in the food industry prior to my education career (Whataburger, McDonalds, Football & Event concessions etc.)... Now... When I arrived tonight (Wednesday@ 8:05pm), there were approximately 15-20 people seated in the lobby and about 8 cars in the drive-thru lane. I placed my order of 2 double cheeseburgers @ 8:11pm. While I was standing near the fountain drinks, I looked around the store to see that about 8 of the people seated just had drinks at their tables with receipts in their hands... There were approximately 10-12 crew members working in the kitchen and 4-8 other members doing a mixture of front counter/window/going around cleaning... As time passed on, I could see that these employees at this new restaurant we're not properly trained nor prepared for working - you could see the confusion and unorganized chaos in the kitchen... It has been open for going on a week now I believe. One would think that they (management/corporate) would have sent the employees to some of the BK'S in Tyler (less than 45 minute drive) to do some intensive training for a couple of weeks to prepare themselves to have a fantastic opening here in J'Ville (especially since the Mc'Donalds is torn down and being rebuilt at the moment. It is very obvious that these employees were not given the training they need to be successful and push orders out in acceptable time... I finally received my two burgers at 8:57pm (46 minutes after I had placed my order)... Again, I am not upset with the regular hourly employees, this is OBVIOUSLY a MANAGEMENT/CORPORATE issue... If any Management/Corporate reads this, PLEASE give your employees the proper training they require BEFORE throwing them in the kitchen... This trial by fire has not helped them nor your ...

But then never gave me my change and I had to go to the food window and tell them she never gave me my change and she walked away from the window. Then they asked for my name that the order was under and I told them the lady never asked for my name so then they asked for my order number I then looked at the receipt and gave them the number they walked off looked and came back and asked to see my receipt so I gave it to them. After a few minutes I see five of them standing around talking and I motion one over to the window I then proceed to ask if they have the order ready and they said no at that point after already being there for close to half an hour in a drive-through that only had two other cars I decided to ask for my money back. But then manager after taking forever to type in the information to the computer to get me my money back opens register and thereās no cash. I have no idea how they are still in business! Had I not been upset due to two kids who were hungry, one of them a screaming baby, it might have been...

So I'm standing @ the register and there's 5 to 6 employees(most of them standing around talking and looking at me) filing orders(2 to 3 of them). There was a Hispanic lady who's name started with an L (very nice lady) she was cleaning tables in the lobby. She seen me and immediately comes to take my orderš, and then she disappears with the manager. Ten to fifteen minutes go by, the guy in front of me has already received his order maybe 5 minutes after I placed mine. I ordered 3-10 pc & a small fry. Very simple! So I'm just observing everything several trays of chicken nuggets and fries come out during my almost 25 minute wait. The employees were looking at me like I cursed their mother during this whole time lol. BAD ATTITUDES & lack of character!!!
