Captain D's — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I went there last night April the 10th, I have been there twice before and was pleased. However last night the young man that took our order of a standing there and looked like he was zoned out in another world. The floor was dirty trash all over the tables were nasty. My wife and I took our grandson there. He took our order, can you put ice on our cups and filled one cup then went to the drive-thru, he took an order from one car instead of going back and completing our order he took an order through the window from another car and then proceeded to chit chat the girl in the back notice what was happening and she came up there and gave us our order. My wife got unsweetened tea. When we sit down she took a sip she said it was rancid and took it back and got diet Pepsi. Our order has sit on top of the counter there for well over 5 minutes so when we got it the fish was really greasy. There was one other customer there and she took her order and left. We got there at approximately 7:35 we left right at 8:00 as we were leaving the girl followed us to the door and locked it. I thought they stayed open till 10:00 p.m. as it stated on the door. Just left captain D's on Normandy because they shut the lobby down early. Went over to the Edgewood location with my family. This time the door was not locked. The cashier rudely and stankly took our order. Gave us our food. She watched us get ready to sit down... Then she said we can't eat in the lobby. We came to the lobby and ordered at 8:45pm the door says they close at 10. She rudely said we can't eat inside.

However if you order before the lobby closes, they are not supposed to kick you out. So I calmly asked for a refund. The rude cashier was unapologetic. The manager did our refund but still failed to uphold the policies. When customer enters and orders before closing hours, they are not supposed to kick you out. Terrible customer service and terrible experience. Corporate and upper management do NOT care who they hire to run their stores. Absolutely...

904 Edgewood Ave N, Jacksonville, FL 32254 This was a horrible experience. The food was fine. My two-year-old was sitting in his seat, being good, not being loud, eating like he was supposed to, not creating a mess. A lady walks over to me and says ma'am can you have him not put his feet in the seat because the "church crowd" comes in here after you all leave? I said do you know how hard it's going to be to have a two-year-old not put their feet in the seat? And she says we have boosters for that. My two-year-old is the size of almost a four year old.
