This is a really good Mexican spot! If I had to categorize it, it's much closer to SoCal Mexican than it is "east coast". There's alot more herb flavors than the other spots around town. The Salsa: Top Notch. It comes across more fresh and hand made. Lots of white onion, cilantro, and cracked black pepper. Way better than the tomato puree at other places. The chips are the nice thick, freshly fried, corn tortilla. The entrée: I got the Burrito Jalisco. Man, I haven't found anything like this anywhere else. For one- it's big. Big enough to take some home but it's so good. The cheese has a nice clean but creamy feel, almost like a goat cheese. The chipotle sauce is basically mole which is what sets this plate apart from others. It's smokey, light spice, and so flavorful. I know it's not for everyone but if you've had food IN Mexico, this is a good shot. Lots of steak in it. I didnt get a lot from the meat but it was plentiful. I also wasn't blown away by the refried beans. But it didn't take away from the dish. The service: they were all so helpful! Smiles while I was being seated, courteous when I was ordering, and kept getting checked on. And the place was very clean. For the area, this place is in a diffrent league. So flavorful and very authentic. Definitely recommend (keeping in mind it is NOT east coast Mexican, it's better!)

We went for the first time last night. I do not like trying new places, and a friend picked the spot last night. I was so pleasantly surprised! I will definitely come back! Firstly, the salsa & chips were the best I've had. I am picky about salsa and do not buy it in the store at all because we make our own at home. I'd buy this salsa though. Yum! The little tortilla hard shell presentation of the beans is adorable and I loved it! Our server was lovely and I really appreciated that the manager came to check on us. Everyone around me was super impressed with this presentation of the Spicy Fajitas. I order this often at various regional Mexican restaurants and this was the best I've had. The chicken was super tender. I've never had chicken fajita meat this tender! I did not get dessert but several around me did and seemed to enjoy it.

Food was good. Didn't care for the salsa, no flavor, almost sweet, no heat. Asked for house salsa and waiter brought grounded up habanero....at least that's what it looked like and tasted like. Good flavor for USA Mexican food. Not authentic Mexican food people......you have no idea what authentic Mexican food is.....what region of Mexico are you referring to as being authentic? Southern California..... I am referring to the other reviews commenting on the authentic Mexican food. Oh, one more thing.....please put finely ground black pepper in the shakers on the tables, not coarse ground used in the kitchen. Or get shakers with bigger holes.

This was my 2nd time ever ordering from here, The first time I went to go pick up my online order. A woman at the front desk wasn’t exactly friendly and really didn’t seem like she wanted to be there, did not let that bother me I figured maybe long day or whatever, Yesterday we decided we wanted to get either burrito shack or get food from here again, sense the first time we got it, the food was actually pretty good. However this time after I placed my order online for the amount of $39.29, I get a notification afterwards that the store is busy etc. and couldn’t take my order, however they still took my money anyways which doesn’t make sense if a store is so “busy” you would think a restaurant wouldn’t hurry up to take money out of an account. I went to the restaurant thinking ok maybe sense they took my money and it shows it’s still pending from my account that the order went through still, nope got there and waited up front for about 10-15 minutes before we were finally helped, only to be told no we don’t have it you can reorder, Why on earth would I reorder it for one you already took money from my account and still have not given it back and 2 I am not paying another $39.29, I would have thought they could have at least made my order still sense they still took the money, and I can’t believe a restaurant gets that busy and can’t handle anymore orders but yet places like chic fil a who pretty much is packed everyday can handle both drive thru and online orders at the same time. I won’t ever be eating here again, I’ll just stick with Mi Cabana or burrito shack next time I want Mexican food, to add further insult to the issue 24 hours later and the money is no longer pending but has been taken out, I will definitely be calling my bank...

Casa Grande Mexican Bar & Grill is a well-run establishment where it’s clear that the owner and management are committed to creating a positive dining experience for their guests. My overall experience was pleasant, with just one noteworthy issue.

The atmosphere was excellent! The restaurant was clean, well decorated, and filled with the inviting smell of fresh Mexican food. My party of eight (2 adults and 6 kids
not all my kids 😅) was greeted with smiles and seated quickly. The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken and steak burrito topped with hot queso and spicy sauce, and the watermelon Long Island was a standout drink.

My only complaint concerns what appeared to be an intentional upcharge by our waitress, likely because gratuity was automatically added for our large party. Three young girls and one boy ordered the kids’ nachos from the green section on the back of the menu, but the waitress entered them as adult nachos instead. When the food came out I was shocked to see four mountains of nachos. The portions were far too large for children. Each could have easily served two adults. This resulted in a lot of wasted food and about a $40 difference on the bill. This is certainly something for management to keep an eye on in the future.

Overall, I would still 100% recommend trying Casa Grande if you haven’t yet. The atmosphere, food quality, and general service make it well...

Perhaps we ordered the wrong things and picked the wrong night but we found this place to be blah from food to service to atmosphere. The music was blasting so loud you couldn't have conversation but we just rolled with it. My husband asked to order a 7&7 and our server had no clue what it was (no biggie, we explained what it was) and she said "we don't have that". Ok, no problem. Only after reading the cocktail menu where it plainly said "7&7" listed did we point it out to her and ask kindly again if she was sure they don't offer it? She then said "we don't have that kind of soda to make it. We don't carry it" We didn't press but It would have been nice, considering she had zero knowledge about it in the first place, if she would have just bothered to go ask the bartender. Regardless, we moved on. THEN the food came...the chicken enchiladas la crema ....they just weren't good. They were basically unseasoned, shredded chicken stuffed into lukewarm corn tortillas. No cheese at all....not baked like enchiladas everywhere else...with what tasted like a spicy buffalo chicken sauce spread on top with some shredded lettuce and tomato scattered over. This was bland bar food at best. Again, perhaps I ordered the wrong thing, perhaps it was an "off' night. Hubby's tacos were decent. That's the best thing that can be said. We...
