Chicken Express — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Have been stopping here on my return trips from canton. On this day something was a little off. I only got a box of rolls no chicken. The rolls had an off smell I took a small pinch out on o e and tasted it. Oh wow it tasted as if it had sit out the dough and yeast had spoiled and they cooked them any way. Service here was good but I'm striking this place from my list of places to stop at in Jacksonville. Sorry.😒 I made the mistake of stopping at chicken express again( June 28. 25) Things went from bad to worst. This time I ordered fried livers. What I got was half done livers several had attached gallbladder one was not properly cooked the attached gallbladder was completely raw it was soft squskie and green I called back to tell them about my order. It was no big deal to the guy I talked to ( richard)..i told him it was a phone in pick up order he looked me up. He said i looked up your order and refunded it . Not I'm sorry you were given raw chicken livers I will speak to my cook..so I'm saying if you.continue to eat.at this chicken expess in.Jacksonville Tx you are risking...

This is the most horrible chicken express I’ve ever been too. My wife and I were traveling and stopped at this location because we love Chicken Express. My wife ordered 2 pieces of white with cole slaw. No Cole slaw at this location. This was 3 pm on 12/30/23. She changed her order. I ordered 2 pieces of dark with a side. After sitting for approximately 10 minutes someone comes from the kitchen and says there are no thighs. My wife asks if they can substitute an extra leg to make up for it. She then says, oh we only have one leg. You’ve got to be kidding me. Then she goes on to say, if you’re willing to wait 20-25 minutes we will cook more. Why did you run out to start with. As I’m getting my refund another couple comes in and orders dark chicken. Again, well we are out, but if you’re willing to wait we will cook some. What are they doing in...

Pulled up to order, while I was trying to order the lady kept speaking over me, I told her I'm trying to order but you continue speaking over me. The mashed potatoes I received were half way filled and tasted sour tasted spoiled.

When given the food she opend the window slide gave me the food and walked away. They crammed everything in one box and just gave it to me like that while the window was still open I asked for ketchup and Cinthia totally ignored me and continued to walk away. I waved to get someone's attention and a friendly employee gave me a bag to put the box in and napkins and ketchup for my order. I suggest Cinthia being retrained if she still continues to work in the Customer Service industry. Why work in customer service if you do not want to serve customers.
