This evening August 5, 2021 I went to Chili's at 9530 Applecross Road in Jacksonville, Fl 32222 I ordered online at 6:41pm for curbside I went to pick up my order at 7:22 pm it wasn't ready they told me it would be ready in 5 minutes, I went inside again after waiting 5 minutes and it still wasn't ready this is after I have seen Dashers picking up orders and It's just wings picking up orders and my order still wasn't ready. I asked to speak to the manager and after she came out to speak with me my order was ready I advised her I wanted my order cancelled and my credit card credited back because waiting an entire our for two salads, Queso and Salsa was ridiculous and the manager didn't come out the first time to speak with me and I had to ask for her that in it self is poor customer service, I have been going to this Chili's forever and I have never had this type of issue the managers that used to run this store was excellent I am not sure who the managers are now but they could definitely use a course in customer service and leadership skills. The appearance of the food look as if my 6 year old prepared it there is no longer any pride taken in the product that they are providing to customers especially when you are paying for something that you expect to taste and look good. The managers advised he had to go to Corporate for my account to be credited back and it would take 5 to 7 days, I will definitely track this refund and contact my bank if it is not credited back. I will not be visiting this Chili's any longer. We asked for prices of the menu (on the 2 for 1 drinks) as the waitress Britney miss informed us stating they were all 2 for $5.69 is a lie... Then when the food came out we ordered the 3 for $10 meal the soup was cold to the point it wasn't even melting the cheese... we tried calling her over a few times but I guess she was busy to even pay us attention... When the food came out for the burger and chicken the person who brought us the runner stated sorry for the fries let them know if you want fresh ones... What??? I tried then and my gosh they were like if they cooked them in the morning... grosss!!!! So then we had to wait for fresh fries why not bring them fresh from the kitchen why bring us old food!!! The waitress didn't want to do anything about her miss informed pricing on the drinks, as well as nothing for the horrible food experience. So we waited for the manager... Manager comes in stinking in cigarettes did I mention we had to wait for her while she was smoking... Comes in and we wanted to through up how mad she smelled... You're working in a food industry have some respect for your customer put some perfume on and eat a mint... She comes in after a few minutes and says she gave you the right prices... How would she know if she wasn't present... Food horrible mind you we didn't eat the fries and left half the food... Yet nothing... Customer service in the place is the worst... Read moreThe last visit was fine, it is hit and miss and there. I'm typically happy with the food, the service is mediocre at best. I can't tell you how many times we walked in and stood there at an empry hostess stand for well over 15 minutes, when they weren't even busy and multiple staff members walk right by, avoiding eye contact at all costs. It definitely seems that a majority of the employees there are hate their job. Most establishments including fast food, will at the very least say "someone will be with you shortly" but not chili's! I noticed they will pretend they're super busy to avoid helping customers. I've worked in a handful of restaurants and I would have been fired on the spot if I was blatantly ignoring people waiting st the door. What's even funnier to me is the MANAGER was the only person who seemed to be assisting customers (on a previous visit). The bartender and manager were basically tag teaming our table for whatever reason while the rest of the staff were kind of hanging around lol. For example we walked in and saw 2 staff huddled over one if the many dirty tables just talking, a waitress walked to the host stand to grab something and made sure she had her face turned away from us and the other people waiting and then rushed off.
