China 1 — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Rude as hell! I came here for a pick up for a delivery service. No greeting when I walked in, but the white, older gentleman that walked in before me received a greeting. As soon as I stepped up to the counter to inquire about the order I was there for, one of the women was telling me to confirm. Ummm, NO! You haven't handed me the bag, and I don't know whose food that is in the bag on YOUR side of the counter. The other lady confirmed the name, and I then confirmed on my end. As I'm leaving, the rude first woman was literally shouting at me about confirming the order. Manners seem to have escaped this woman in every way. This has been an issue with SOME of the Asian people (mostly women) I have encountered on my pick-ups. If yall want black people to stop using the race card, start treating US like the human beings we ARE and give us the same respect you show to other races. Ordered food at 5:03p on Sunday July 5th. Person taking the order stated that food would be delivered in 30-45 minutes. Called back at 6:05p when the food had not shown up. Was told that I could come and pick it up or cancel my order because they had someone not show up for work. I was later given the option of calling back in 2 hours to wait again for who knows how long. After talking to a 3rd person who claimed they had called my twice to tell me food wouldn't be coming and me promising them that I was never called, I was told that my cell phone must be broken. I have been ordering food from the restaurant for years and I have never been treated this way. As much as I wanted to order food from here, I cannot support a company that drops the ball this badly with customer service. Ordered from here through Grub Hub, as I am in town on travel for work. This is the first, and will be the last, time I ordered from here. I ordered the Scallops with Beef Fried Rice. I have never before seen 12 perfectly matched size and shape scallops before, and they were way overcooked to the point of being very chewy. The Fried Rice, well it's fried rice, and was ok at best. We also ordered Singapore Rice Noodles, Extra Hot, and they are very lacking in flavor. The Egg Drop Soup, well I am unsure what the taste is, but it is not like any that I have had before. The Steak and Cheese Egg Rolls where the best part of the meal, although I have had better. And, in place of the mustard sauce I had ordered they sent Duck Sauce, not even close...
