A true gem in Jacksonville. St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church is a spiritual treasure. From the moment my family and I walked through the doors, we were welcomed with warmth, love, and genuine hospitality. The church community is filled with grace-filled, kindhearted people who immediately made us feel like family. Father Nick is a true spiritual father—humble, prayerful, and deeply pastoral. He takes the time to listen, to meet with you personally, and to pray with sincerity and care. His leadership reflects the heart of Christ.
The presence of the Holy Spirit is palpable in every service. The beauty of the building itself is stunning, but what truly sets this church apart is the sacredness of its worship and the depth of its faith.

Read moreWe attended St Johns last Sunday for the first time! It was a joy to be there and to participate in the service. Father Nick is amazingly open and transparent - you can hear the Holy Spirit speaking through him! The icons just completed in the church are magnificent and are so powerful they take your breath away! It was our intention to return this week, but the flu seems to have gotten ahold of us and we don't wish to expose others. We will try to figure out how to listen to the service live online. While never the same as being there it is none-the-less a way to participate. I hope we can go back to the sanctuary next Sunday. God bless all gathered there.
