Juice Paradise & Açaí Bowls — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Loved it, loved it, loved it! I’m an avid Acai Bowl lover. Whenever I travel, I research “acai bowls near me”, read the reviews and venture out. Juice Paradise did not disappoint! 🙌🏾🙌🏾

The acai base was rich and creamy. It wasn’t super sweet and not icy like the kind that will melt on you. It literally had a buttery smooth texture. The ingredients tasted fresh and not frozen. When I took the lid off, the smell of the almond butter hitting my nose had me all excited. I love a good almond butter! ❤️

We didn’t even get one minute up the road before I told my hubby to go back because if the bowl is this good, I had to try the Avocado toast. That’s right… their menu has bowls, smoothies, toasts, wellness shots, and juices! Okay back to the toast - so, so, so good. It was super fresh and the Challah bread was ah-mazing - buttery, soft, and toasted to perfection. 🥑

Other stuff: The eatery was clean and the staff were very friendly. There was as also a prayer box on the counter which warmed my heart because I had a real prayer need that was weighing on my heart this morning. 🙏🏾

This is not our first visit here. However, I would not recommend anybody to visit because of the helpless staff and inconsistent, arrogant management. We ordered - freshly squeezed orange juice. sales person said that we can not have just an orange juice. Our question was why because we haven't had any issues in a past. She said we have to chose from two ingredients (EVEN THOUGH THEIR MENIU SAID CHOSE ANY JUICE AND DOES NOT SAY YOU HAVE TO CHOSE TWO OPTIONS). We asked for a manager. When manager came he said he can not accommodate our request because if he would accommodate everybody he would have a big line. Not sure how if we were just customers during that time. My daughter asked - is this a recent change? He said no. I said if this is always been part of the menu why don't you just mention in the menu - you have to pick two options. His unjustifiable excuse was - we can not put everything on a menu. First, having sales person who seemed not interested giving service but making sure her long nails stayed pretty. Then manager who gave inconsistent excuses does not make this place professional and appealing and trustworthy business...

First experience here will probably be my last. I visited yesterday and was greeted by 3 young ladies working (2 blonde 1 darker hair). When it was time to place my order the short young caucasian girl with dark hair was EXTREMELY RUDE AND AGITATED. As I look at the menu she’s standing there rolling her eyes and being fidgety as if I were wasting her time…then the business phone rang and she again rolled her eyes & turned way from me to get the phone, but luckily the other employee answered before this young lady could answer with an obvious attitude. I then jokingly asked her “are u ok, is everything alright, u ready to get off work?” She cracked a fake smile & nodded yes. Basically idk what her issue was, idk if it was with me being a first timer & not knowing what I wanted to order, or if she was just not in the mood to work that day…either way POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I usually go to juicebox, I only tried this place because I wanted to try something different buuuutttt I think I’ll stick to juicebox (hopefully they’re not owned by the same...
