Min Garden — Restaurant in Jacksonville

We have been ordering pretty regularly and the food was always good until tonight. We got two orders of sesame chicken, 2 egg rolls(one was supposed to be free with the coupon), two orders of crab wontons. Took over an hour to be delivered, everything was cold ish, the chicken tasted like it was old, the sweet and sour was bleh, wontons cold. Called to tell them, expecting to be offered replacement, refund or credit. Wasn’t offered anything. I asked for some sort of compensation and was offered 10% off next time. $3? No. That doesn’t even cover the food we would have thrown away. The lady was so rude! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! She sent the driver to come back and pick up our food and he literally inventoried the food at my door with her on the phone and said they would refund everything but the egg rolls that we ate! I EVEN HAD TO PAY FOR THE ONE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FREE! I WILL NEVER ORDER FOOD HERE AGAIN! I am SO MAD! Worst customer service ever!! ILL ALSO BE TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW OF THE HORRIBLE...

This place is the holy grail of Chinese soul food. The beating golden agape heart of delicious cuisine. I cried eating it, maybe because I was burning my tongue on the delicious hot bourbon chicken and teriyaki sticks, maybe because it was the best food I’ve had in years. I cannot overstate the flavors, the freshness, and the perfection that is min garden. If you order elsewhere you’re doing yourself the highest disservice. I could write an entire essay on the balance of flavors and spices in each dish separately. And I know my Chinese soul food. I’ve been all over America in search of the best. This place is easily in my top Three finest dining experiences I’ve had to day. Look no further. They have it all here. Do yourself a favor and get the doughnuts. Their food taste good usually and their food is usually fresh, but sometimes their food is spoiled (had spoiled egg rolls once and spoiled wonton strips once). Some of the employees are friendly, but some are very rude. I went here tonight for a pickup order and they ignored me for several minutes (they walked up and looked at me several times but then walked away without speaking to me) and gave a customer who came in after me his food first! I paid in cash and the man I gave my money to didn’t give me my change and walked away with a rude attitude and didn’t say “have a good night” or anything to me. Also there was a dead fish in the fish tank and the tank was filthy and the place didn’t look that clean and there was a knat flying around. It makes you wonder how clean and sanitary their food is. This place is kind of hit and miss. You might get good food and friendly service or you might get spoiled food and very rude...
