I got the lamb platter. I got to choose whatever 2 sides I wanted with my platter which is nice. The lamb and basmati rice was dry and old. It didn't taste fresh. The food was full of flavor, delicious, old, and dry like it has been been sitting out for hours. Unlimited sauce which helps with the dryness. The pita bread, tomato and avocado salad, hummus very was good. Not dry. My daughter got the Philly Gyro which was really good and it wasn't dry and tasted fresh. Unlimited drinks if you dine in.
Its not a quality restaurant. I expected the place to be clean and of high quality because of the high star reviews. Someone told me that the place is expensive. I had high expectations.
I didn't expect to see styrofoam trays for my food to be served in when we are dining in and plastic utensils. The men the cooked the food was friendly and the man brought the food to our table was very handsome. The presentation of the food was not appealing. The empty tables looked dirty. The whole place looked dingy. The place was set up like Chipotle.
I wanted to leave as soon as I saw the place but it was pouring rain outside, I never tried this place, and I haven't eaten all day. The place didnt have trash everywhere but it didn't look clean. The tables looked like it was poor quality material. The tables didn't look like it was wiped clean or organized. The floor didn't look like it was clean. My table was dirty and had another customer's hair on it.
Unexpected the place to be bigger but it was small. Not cute or cozy. The restaurant looked cheap and low quality. I was disappointed in the atmosphere. I liked the upbeat music played through their busted speakers when made a loud weird sound to each beat.
There was only one person inside when I first walked in maybe because it was pouring rain outside.
If you are expecting a high quality restaurant with metal utensils, ceramic plates, or real wood tables, food that is fresh then this place is not for you. If you want delicious fast greek food then this place is for you.
I gave this place 3 star rating because the food was delicious, old and dry, I didn't think the price matched the quality of the atmosphere or food. The rating would have been lower if the workers weren't friendly...
Read moreOrdered stuffed grape leaves for the entire family (was told over the phone that one order is three dolmades), so we ordered fifteen orders of them and were charged for fifteen orders. When the food arrived, we ended up with 15 dolmades instead of 45 for the family. And they were cold. Not luke warm or room temperature - COLD, as in just pulled out of a refrigerator and not even heated up. No exaggeration. They literally took the dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) out of a refrigerator and placed them in a to-go bag. Pure laziness. Plain and simple. The salads (which cost almost 9 dollars a piece and are the size of a side salad from Wendy’s) were wilted, and we were given hardly any dressing, even though we asked for extra. If you want a really good Mediterranean food experience, skip this place and go to Marrakesh, where you’ll get way higher quality food, and pay around the same, if not less; never been disappointed in their food. I will never order anything from this place ever again, and now we have to figure out somewhere else to order dinner tonight since they don’t have their act together. Very disappointing.
Edit: since you wanted to respond but it won’t allow me to respond to you. No one eats refrigerated dolmades. That’s just asinine. Also, to reiterate, my wife called the restaurant and specifically asked how many dolmades came in a single order. She was told “three”. If we paid nearly twenty dollars for fifteen stuffed grape leaves, then you people are seriously greedy, considering they were small and nearly ice cold. Oh, and I’d love to show you a picture I took of the nine dollar Caesar salad I received, but it won’t allow me to edit on here to do so. Guess I can just make a new review and show it. Instead of finding ways to defend the terrible order I received, maybe you should work on making it better. Try reading the rest of the reviews on here that have one star; there’s a reason many of them are telling people to go to Marrakesh, and also had some of the same...
Read moreI was driving down the road and saw the signs for a Mediterranean restaurant, one of my favorite cuisines, so I stopped in. I'm glad I did! I hemmed and hawed over the menu, because I wanted just about everything the menu had to offer, but settled on the beef and lamb platter, the chicken platter, and an order of falafel. I actually changed my order halfway through the first time, which required the poor employee to delete my entire initial order, but when I apologized she kept saying it was no big deal, even though she had to bring another employee over to clear it. 😖 Anyway, for under $25, my husband and I ended up with fairly generous portions of lamb, beef, and chicken, warm pita, a tomato/avacado/cilantro salad, basmati rice (with saffron? It had a yellow hue), taziki sauce, hummus, greek salad, baklava and falafel. Everything was AMAZING. And just to note... you're not getting the thin straps of lamb, they're about one inch chunks that are seared on all sides. I've had them before in my hometown (lots of Greeks settled there) but never really saw anywhere else outside of Greece itself. The store is immaculate, the salads look amazing and are presented in a glass case right beside the cash register, and the meats are cooked to order right in front of you behind the cooler. The employees are exceptionally nice. I'll be returning soon, and recommend to anyone for a healthy, very fresh, very delicious meal with service...
