Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I have been ordering from this location since they opened. Unfortunately the consistency is lacking. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes I received a burnt pizza. More so with the service. Tonight led me leave this review. Rarely do I write reviews. It just seems sometimes they’re trying to talk you out of ordering and tonight the young man who answered the phone succeeded. First he said it could take up to an hour. This seemed odd because it is Tuesday and it was early. They make a great Philly cheese steak pizza. So tonight when I ordered that I was told it was seasonal. So when I asked, so you’re saying the Philly cheesesteak season has ended. He said yes. I said I didn’t know there was such a season. This location seems to have an issue with this very popular item. I received a coupon on one of their deliveries for a Philly Cheesesteak pizza and was told they were no longer honoring them even though it had not reached the expiration date. The young lady on the phone said the manager had decided not to honor the coupons anymore. After insisting it’s a non-expired offer they finally excepted it but insisted this would be the last time. This business just doesn’t seem customer friendly, like they want to discourage you from doing business with them. Tonight they succeeded with me. BTW Papa John’s still sales Philly cheesesteak pizza’s and said they were unaware of any Philly cheesesteak...

I will begin by saying that even though the food was pretty good, the service was some of the worst I have ever experienced, which, in turn, made for a less than favorable atmosphere.

After about 20 minutes waiting for three sodas, a medium pizza, 10 piece dippers, and a regular salad, we observed 5 people who came in after us order and leave. During that time, a friend, in our party noticed our pizza waiting to be served to us and we hadn't even received our drinks yet. When she inquired about our pizza, the young lady, whose picture I posted with this review, was rude, defensive, and disrespectful when we asked where our pizza was. In the meantime, the pizza wasn't hot anymore. We had to send it back. In the meantime, the girl talked negatively about us right in front of us and other customers. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. Jade brought us our drinks and made sure we had all of our food as well. She even went next door to Wing Stop when she noticed that we were disappointed that they had run out of plates.

When we spoke with our original server, Devon, who is supposedly the assistant manager, he seemed to take the employee's side by telling us that the sever said we were rude, when it was all her. He should have apologized to us and said that he would make sure it would never happen again. There was absolutely no accountability by anyone but Jade. She...

As a former pizza maker and manager of a pizza restaurant I’m very disappointed in this Marcos pizza. When I lived on race track Rd I ordered all the time always exceptional. This location has been a night mare . I placed an order for delivery of large thin crust pizza one half meats and the other veggie. When the pizza arrived it was one half cheese and 1/2 meat honest mistake, but after observing the meat side I noticed the pizza had already been cooked and the toppings were added after the pizza had cooked I could tell. So I sent it back with driver at 6:09 pm it is now 8:25pm I called 10 mins ago to check in on the pizza and I was told it left. I live 1.6 miles away . I’ve waited a total weight time of 3 hours . I think the most upsetting part was I had to call 3 times before I was answered that is unprofessional and bad service . Truly the worst experience I have had in pizza and that’s saying something for I never leave a review in pizza. I hate to say this but order papa Johns at this location instead. It’s 8:45 I just called to cancel it which I don’t why I have to do that if the pizza was out of the building at 8:09pm . This place will not last long with...
