I put in an online order around 10 minutes before I got there. When I did arrive it was packed with cars. I had to sit waiting in line for a while and when I did finally get up to the front they made me pull off to the side for around 15 more minutes to wait. A person who looked like the manager came out and gave me my food. I glanced in the bags to make sure no food had been forgotten and asked her for reassurance that they had everything I asked for, since they were crowded with people so it's not unusual for McDonald's to forget to put something like the sauce in. She reassured me everything was there and my quick glance made me feel like this manager was right. So I left but when I got home I started thinking that I hadn't actually checked the bottom of the bags to know for sure they gave me the right toys too. I realized that they only gave me one Pokemon toy despite ordering two for both meals. And gave me their second option of a toddler toy as a replacement. I immediately called customer service and reported it and they assured me the manager would get back to me about it. The manager refused to give me a refund or offer a new toy, despite these Pokemon cards obviously being a popular one that will clearly be back in stock soon or in the least was definitely in stock at a different store. One of the children who didn't get their cards was so disappointed I had to go back to another McDonald's soon after just to make sure they could get some cards too. So I had to pay for an extra happy meal I didn't want or need, had to go to a different location because of it and buy another anyway, and had to sit waiting there for 30 minutes just for them to refuse to give me what I ordered or a refund. I will never be returning to this McDonald's again for the neglectful treatment this manager put me through. This McDonald's is always packed so I usually avoid going there anyway and if I hadn't accidentally let the app put my order in the closest McDonald's I wouldn't have willingly gone there but now I'm never okay with going there again even by accident! This manager needs to be investigated because she's the reason me and probably many others aren't going there anymore at all now. The most ironic thing about this is I literally read a report that popped up on my phone earlier that same week talking about McDonald's Managers mistreating customers by lying about giving them the Pokemon cards they ordered.
I took a screenshot of the only email she responded to me with which seemed more automated and my response making it clear I was not okay with this treatment and I would be warning others about it.
I also found the original news feed that popped up on my phone earlier that week warning people of managers not giving people Pokemon cards when ordering them.
The worst part of this is she was standing in front of me and lied to my face about everything I ordered being in there and in the email they even said they knew were out and intentionally gave me the wrong item. And when I did ask for a refund or replacement I was ignored. Don't make the same mistake I did and trust their word without double checking the toys as well as the food...
ย ย ย Read moreI'm stating the conclusion right now: Change is a part of life and as a part of change this McDonalds should lock it's doors and transition to online ordering only. I think this is the long-term goal anyways but it should be done now. Let's begin. There were at least seven employees working, two diners in the restaurant, some limited trash on the floor and the sidewalk followed by the scuffle of staff bringing parcels to waiting cars standing on the curb. Did you see the part about the trash? So I ordered on the Kiosk, no receipt and I'm okay with this. 20 minutes go by. More scuffling, no eye contact I finally said, "Hello" to one of scufflers. Doesn't appear to be any management at this location. But they are helpful when incorrect orders return. They just replace the item. I'm now thinking, eat a hamburger say the onions are missing and get a free hamburger. Let's move on. My order finally comes, missing an item they quickly move forward and fill it. Most good. I consumed my food, and departed. I also have some other concerns as well. Dangerous divot on the western end of their parking. Of course it isn't on their property but it is on the right of way to and from their property. Think front end alignment in addition to your happy meal! ๐ Oh yeah. I'll close this out with change itself. Of course online ordering is easier but does it really mean better. I've read of McDonalds Corporate officers taking positions on issues like Global Climate Change yet, they can't even provide some recycling bins to keep the trash off their floors and into the lifecycle of...
ย ย ย Read moreI usually try and rate restaurants decently. But, this establishment would get a 0 if that were possible. The manager was so rude and nasty until it was ridiculous. I ordered my food and asked for fresh fries. Once I got to the window, I was asked to pull forward. I didn't mind and as a matter of fact I expected to pull forward because I asked for fresh froes. Before I pulled up, II asked for 2 cups of ice. The lady said the ice was no longer free that it was 35ยข I said okay and started reaching in my purse to pay. The manager starts screaming that there are no add-ons at the window. I said, I understand but I didn't know that you had to pay for ice. She was like oh it's no add-on. I said, you can't make an exception this time she said No. So, I said in that case I can't pull up. If you can't show me courtesy I can't show you any. Now, before I asked for ice, I asked the girl at the window to make sure ketchup was in the bag. So, they pass me two bags out the window and I ask is ketchup in the bag the girl says everything is in there I go to check and there is no ketchup. I said, there is no ketchup. The manager starts screaming again yelling You have to ask for ketchup. I said I did and you need to calm down all that energy. I go to test my fries and of course they are not fresh. I just drive off and say I will never go back. My babies love McDonald's and I'm there all the time buying them nuggets but I won't...
