Absolutely the worst possible excuse for a McDonald's or any fast food chain that I have ever experienced. I only ordered a large coffee and my 2 adult aged children ordered 4 mcmuffins and 2 hashbrowns. Aside from us waiting forever for this food, I had to ask twice for my coffee, I was given a small and empty McDonald's cold beverage cup. After such a very long wait (they were virtually empty with only 2 other customers at this time), I was ready to give up and put my coffee in that cup. Coffee, stir sticks, creme and sugar are all behind the counter and has to be asked for. I asked the manager on duty (no regular employees were at the front or visible at any time during my visit) one more time for my coffee. My children had already began eating, though it took ages to get their food, my coffee took longer. The manager now handed me a large coffee that was room temperature and walked away. I asked for lots of sugar and no creme. He handed me 8 sugars and walked away. It was then that I realized I had to specifically ask for a stir stick. I walked back up to ask, but was told to wait a moment. He then turned to take someone's order while I waited. He proceeded to wait for that person's food to come down, instead of helping me. I asked again and was finally handed a plastic spoon! The plastic spoon wasn't long enough to reach the bottom of the cup, but my coffee was not even close to warm, so I didn't have to worry about burnt fingers. I knew asking for a new coffee was pointless since this man was beyond incompetent. This McDonald's never once during my visit had Any more than 2 customers in the lobby at the same time, nor any more than 2 cars in drive-thru at one time. Yet, I saw 3 separate people come in and complain, 1 of which threw his food on the counter angry, demanding a refund. My son went to complain about my coffee and waited until there were no customers. When he spoke to the manager, he started to complain, the manager noticed I was recording his behavior (very, VERY poor customer service attitude), he cut my son off in the middle of him speaking and said "Can I help you?" My son, unaffected by his attitude, continued with his complaint. The manager, again cut my son off while he was speaking, rolled his eyes and said ok and simply walked away from my son to stand near the fryers and ignore my son. I have the recording, as I'm sure he would deny his behavior. There is a sign posted at the front, showing how many complaint free days this store has and the big zero is absolutely NO surprise! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I'd rather goto a gas station for my breakfast next time than to deal with this again! Couldn't even ask for a refund on my coffee, since management just walked away. Side note, according to my adult children, their food tasted good. The cook apparently wasn't having the same trouble as...
Read moreCrispy-cooked bacon, delicate fluffy eggs smothered in warm melted cheese, and a breakfast sauce topping stuffed between two pieces of a toasted bagel. What I have just described to you is a golden staple in American Breakfast Cuisine - The Classic Bacon Egg and Cheese.
As you can see from my receipt, this is what I had come to order on such an unknowingly awful Saturday morning at 949am. That, alongside another breakfast sandwich for my fiance and some hash browns too. Upon arriving at the delivery window, I quickly received a bag with just two sandwiches in it - no hash browns. When I mentioned it to the window teller, they promptly grabbed the bag from my hands and rummaged through it before needing to talk with others in a state of confusion. I guess that the professionalism of a multi-million dollar company doesn't keep in mind that this may cause confusion for other customers behind me as they now believe that I might have received somebody else's food. How hard would it have been to leave the original bag with me and simply fill another bag with the missing hash browns? I don't think that what I am describing requires much common sense or hands-on training, this is just simple human courtesy. Nobody wants their food touched by other customers.
However, the storm is only brewing. Once I arrived home to finally eat my treacherously delivered breakfast, I opened my sandwich bag to be given a disgrace in the name of Bacon, Egg, and Cheese's! This UFO Area 51 project had a half cooked slab of sausage with what I can only assume is botched caramelized onions. What a sad disappointment, almost enough to make a grown man cry. This location has butchered my love for breakfast foods for the last time!
From the incorrectly prepared items to the sugarless sweet tea, moldy buns (as seen in other reviews), unprofessional staff, long wait times, store phone never working (as it will not even ring), and all the other terrible experiences provided on google - this specific franchise location needs a thorough BBB and Health Department evaluation. I recommend driving up the street to their sister store located on University Blvd, approximately 5...
Read moreI’d give this place -100 if I could. Live close to this location so my boyfriend and I have been several times in the past few months. Every time there’s been issues with customer service, usually a longer than usual wait and rude employees but being in retail myself I tend to give workers more leeway. But last night was ridiculous! We went around 11pm to grab some quick munchies and ordered thru the app. Nothing crazy, just two frappes and two bacon McDoubles. When we pulled up there was a line almost to Emerson, people standing outside their cars, and one lady outside the door arguing with a gentleman who only repeated he “no habla English” and her screaming she drives for Uber Eats. We pull up and the lady Uber driver immediately comes to our car and says “they’ve completely shut down! They are refusing to cook food!” My boyfriend and I look at each other and he asks her to repeat herself. She says she has been in line for twenty minutes waiting on a Uber Eats order, the dining room doors are locked, she’s seen five different employees walking around and hiding behind the wall next to drive through. We look for ourselves and sure enough, there are employees inside laughing and talking to each other. Suddenly the line starts to move and we hear a young lady’s voice apologizing over the speaker. As cars begin to drive away, two female employees bring some bags of food out and hand them to the Uber Eats driver, she’s yelling that the burgers better not be cold. When we finally get to the drive through speaker, no one says anything for another 5 minutes. Then we jump because a young woman is suddenly outside our car mumbling about not having a cook for another hour. My boyfriend, being a smartass, says “then how did the Uber lady get her food?” The employee says they had Uber orders prepared ahead of time. “So who cooked her food?” The cook who left. Ok. Cool. My thing is my very first job was at a McDonald’s in Clay County and I distinctly remember being crossed trained at the grill, front counter and drive through. I could still drop fries and put together a burger. Why would this location not cross...
