The manager, Mr Roberts, at this location is a stain on the face of this location and the employees end up getting blamed for it. What we witnessed this morning, isn’t the display of his inept laziness & disgusting treatment of employees but also shows a lack of disregard for customers. Myself & my husband (a USMC vet who has a real issue with the improper treatment of others, especially women who are in a power imbalance) were not the only customers in the restaurant, there was a young woman with her young daughter who were also witnessing this treatment. The “store manager” Mr Roberts, was not wearing a uniform or identification, he was crammed into a booth at the back of the store with a laptop. There was apparently some sort of kiosk/order testing occurring, whatever the case, when one of the cashiers went to ask him a question…..he starts huffing and puffing, gruffly waves her away, rolls out of the booth and stomps up to the registers. He proceeds to chew out both employees, female, that were there while telling them “I already told SOMEONE about this” and when one of the female employees replied “no one told me”, the store managers immediate response was “don’t bother returning from your break”, stomping off huffing and puffing and cramming himself back in to the booth. First of all “telling someone about this” does not sound like proper protocol for a store manager to disseminate seemingly important information to employees and 2nd of all, for this interaction to occur in front of customers by a man who isn’t even properly identified as an employee of the restaurant is concerning. My husband had to approach and ask his name/position after asking the cashier, her telling him she wasn’t comfortable telling him. And it wasn’t in a rude tone, it was an “I’m concerned that if I say anything it’s only going to be worse for me” type of way…..in my opinion. Maybe it was some other reason but she was never rude about it, more avoidant. I’ve read/seen several complaints about this particular McDonalds being short staffed or employees being short with people and I believe if the franchise owner would look into the store manager and overhaul it from the top down vs the other way around, the problems may get better. No matter the case, supervisors treating their employees like they are disposable trash is never the answer…..without those employees the managers don’t have...
Read moreAt the location and it's closed. They have cones in both lanes, and of course, the inside is closed. Adding pictures to Google for manager review. Different date and experience listed below. Another unsuccessful Uber Eats delivery pickup. This order was for spicy nuggets and an ice cream shake or sundae, and they didn't have either. They told me to go to the 2nd window but didn't come to it for 8 minutes. I attempted to re-enter the drive-through to find out what the heck was going on when a man frantically waived me down at the drive-through speaker saying someone was after him, and he needed 911 called. He was a 17-year-old who needed help, and of course, I called them. I'm glad I was there to help him when he needed it! Back to you McDonald's-why is the shake machine down at 11pm, and you're 24 hours? Why don't you have those items unavailable after 11 in your app if that's what the organization's policy I'd. Why haven't you fixed the spicy nugget issue on the system of available items in Uber??? Why do I have to keep writing about every one of your locations, failing at all the things you are supposed to do without being asked. Because you truly do not care about your customers at all, that's why. It's that simple, and it shows every time I go to any of your...
Read moreSo far the food has been hot and ready relatively fast. However my complaint is that the staff seem to not understand the difference between a hamburger (no cheese) and a cheeseburger ( cheese). I cannot eat cheese so I order a hamburger, yet it always comes with cheese! When I returned it ( twice now) I was asked if I was sure I had the correct burger ( I was with someone else.) Yes I am smart enough to check both burgers! Then the kitchen staff proceeded ( very loudly) to complain that they had to remake my order and basically insult me. I'm very sorry you cannot get my very simple order right and that I inconvenienced you , but maybe learning the difference between a hamburger and a cheeseburger would save you time and effort. The second time I went to ask for ketchup and the lady standing right next to the register rudely commented that she wasn't on duty then laughed at me. Another lady gave me what I asked for. But then I could hear them yet again whining and complaining and making rude comments about me like I could not hear them. I'm seriously tired of the horribly rude service at each and every...
