I DO NOT SUPPORT MANY BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES DUE TO THE NASTY ATTITUDES THAT ARE ALWAYS PRESENTED BUT THIS ONE RIGHT HERE GETS AN EXCEPTION. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND FROM MY NECK OF THE WOODS. THE WHITING IS FRESH, PERFECTLY SEASONED, YET NOT SALTY. MAC N CHEESE IS DIFFERENT BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS I LOVE THE SEASONING. IT IS ALSO CREAMY AND FLAVORFUL. THE CABBAGE/BROCCOLI/ PEPPER MIX WAS OUTSTANDING AND PERFECTLY SEASONED. FRESH LEMONADE IS HARD TO COME BY BUT THEY HAVE IT. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE PERFECT EXPERIENCE. I WILL BE BACK TO TRY EVERYTHING.

Oh I dont like cornbread from many places other than home but this was moist with a perfect hint of sweetness. Nothing needs to be added. I havent tasted the banana pudding yet...i will come back and add it.

I heard so many great things about this place and how good their potato salad and collard greens are so I decided to drive over on my lunch break and try the sides. Only to find out that they don’t serve sides SEPARATELY and that you have to buy a WHOLE MEAL in order to get two sides and a drink😭😑. The lady says to me “you’ll be cheaper to buy a whole meal anyways, she is not going to do that.. just sides”. It was never about the price, I just had a taste for TWO SIDES that I heard so much about. I was extremely disappointed so I went across the parking lot and got potato salad and collard greens from the BBQ place and they were actually pretty good. I think they should take that off the menu if they re not going to sale the sides separately. It’s FALSE...

Me and my fiance ate inside and had the meatloaf and chicken wings. With mac and cheese yams and potatoes. The meatloaf is the best i’ve ever had and I told my fiance he isn’t allowed to try it cause mine at home can’t compare to how delicious it is. I hate bell peppers and the meatloaf has some on top, i’ve never enjoyed bell peppers before but they were SO GOOD! The mash potatoes were perfectly creamy and the cornbread is a nice touch. Will definitely be back the owners were very sweet and show a great representation of a good Black family feeding the community good food. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, I will be back again and again!!! and the lemonade 10/10 i’ll be dreaming about that meatloaf during my nap after this food. really does...
