Millie's Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I completely understand why the reviews are split between 1 star & 5 stars. We had boba tea, ice cream & sherbet. All were 1 star. The kids said mall Boba is better, and the ice cream & sherbet were things we could get from Walmart freezer. However, the service was great! Neither kid liked the boba (the milk curdled in the mango boba), so the employee offered to make their most popular boba, brown sugar, which was so nice. But that ended up in the trash too. The atmosphere is so cool, definitely 5 star. This was a one and done for me &the kids. Dreamette will remain our place in San Marco for good tasting ice cream. Was looking for a dessert spot after dinner and came across Millie's. This is such a cute spot. It's definitely an IG story type vibe. The service was great. We even got to try some of the flavors before making a final choice. We went with the Sammy milkshake, which was made with Brown Sugar Bourbon. I like that the milkshake was liquidy and not super think. All the toppings were yummy except the mini doughnut that was stale. Oh, and the best part is you get to keep the mug!

Absolutely lo es that. I'm not going to spend $13 on a milkshake all the time but if I'm in San Marco and want to get the IG feels then I would definitely come back...

Probably some of the yummiest ice cream I’ve ever eaten! Maybe because are grass fed and genuinely happy. We enjoyed butter pecan and cookies and cream in a waffle cone. Plentiful in the pecans and generous with the cookies! We detected cinnamon in the waffle cone, we decided the cone smelled and tasted a bit like a snicker doodle. Millie’s is relatively small and parking is not easy as it located downtown San Marco but that the joy of ice cream…walking around, talking and enjoying the moments. The staff were very friendly.
