I was recently shopping around for a birthday cake and this adorably cozy cafe caught my attention with their flyer at the window. I walked in and ordered a salted caramel chocolate cake without much expectations.... The results were beyond A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! I am so happy I came across this place! The cake was beyond delicious and so well decorated and made with such care and amazing quality! A chocolate cake drizzled with caramel and iced with salted caramel buttercream, what a delightful combination!!!

The owners were very friendly, helpful and beyond accommodating! Overall amazing people to do business with or just to have a friendly conversation! It was a great pleasure meeting you both! Wonderful family-operated business!

Got two things. A raspberry shortbread (bar) and a lemon shortbread (bar). I've never in my life had something with raspberry on it be so bland. It was like eating barely sweetened flour. The lemon bar was slightly better, but most assuredly not worth $3 each. Very clean place, and cozy feeling, until I interacted with the... Employee? Owner? Not sure which he was. I think the only thing he said to me was my total, otherwise it was like I intruded, and he ignored anything else I said. At lunch time. In an empty bakery. In AVONDALE. ON A SATURDAY. Between the cold employee/owner and the exceptionally bland selections I made, I won't be back. I'm hoping it was an off day for them, and in general they perform better, but I'll give my money to places that have better tasting goods AND are consistently friendly to...

We visited yesterday and really enjoyed the experience overall. The location is great, and the atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. Inside, it’s filled with quirky artwork and knick-knacks that give it a lot of character.

We were hoping to try their sandwiches, but unfortunately, they were out of everything we asked for, so we ended up with just coffee. They also didn’t have the syrup flavor we asked for, and the one they used instead had a weird aftertaste—possibly sugar-free? It was super strong, though, so if you like bold coffee, you’ll love it. Next time, I’d probably skip the flavor shot and stick with the coffee as is.

Despite the limited menu availability, we had a great time and will definitely go back for the atmosphere and strong coffee. Hopefully, next time they’ll have more of their menu items...
