Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Ordered (2) Small 10 inch pepperoni pizzas for my teenage son and daughter as I was working late tonight. Placed the order in at 1047pm and it was done delivered to the house by 1104pm. I live 4.7 miles from Papa John's there on Normandy. My son had 2 slices and tossed his pizza in the trash as my daughter ate maybe 5 slices and got super sick to her stomach. I got home just after midnight as it's 1219am now I tried eating a slice and it's just too doughy. Very undercooked where u can't enjoy the breading part of the pizza at all. It's just not tasty at all when pizza is doughy and undercooked. I get it closing time is midnight and whatever staff that works nights probably were cleaning up getting ready to leave. If this is the case then there should be a certain time u accept orders to still be made. Definitely will NOT be ordering from this location again. Papa John's is supposed to be much better than Domino's or even Little Caesars as their pizza is basically cardboard.

Waited 2 hours for them to try and bring me someone else’s order. I refused to take the pizza that wasn’t mine and the driver said “he will be right back” called the store and the manager on staff Jess said I have 2 options wait 2 more hours for him to remake or take my money back. I asked can’t you just skip me back to the front since you guys messed up ? He say “Nah, you only have those options.” Asked him for his management email or contact and he said “sorry I don’t have that but his name is Nick” I had to call a different store just to get in touch with someone. That kid has no business being the team lead. If you COMPLETELY BRING THE WRONG ORDER ENTIRELY YOU SHOULD MAKE THEM A PRIORITY. Crazy they could do it for this review… Update: First driver came back with the order 40 min later. I asked “ You got these from the store right?” He said “Yes”. Found out 2 hours later the driver went and picked up the pizza from the house he accidentally delivered it too and brought it here. The staff is friendly and patient. Unfortunately, I do not have the patience for a pizza that is 35 minutes late so I had to cancel the order. This was a supplementary order to a very large order earlier today that, for some reason or another (but not the staff's fault), was short a couple pizzas from what I had placed online. They were very nice about placing the supplementary order but when it still had not delivered more than an hour after I placed it (35 minutes later than they said it would deliver), I had no choice. The reasons for tardiness were "we got busy right when you placed your order", "he's about 5 but definitely less than 10 minutes away" and "there is a train" (the last one is unlikely since I stood outside for 20 minutes after being told he was 5 minutes away but didn't hear a train and traffic continued as normal even though there are no cross streets between the train and our door that people could have come from had there...
