I was born and raised in Chicago and I have been eating Rosatis all my life. This is the same pizza and same Italian beef. The food is amazing!
Most of the bad reviews I see are because people are misinformed and don’t know what they’re ordering or unfortunately, their order wasn’t cooked properly or to their liking.
If you want Chicago “Deep Dish” style pizza you have to request it because they have 3 different crusts. Thin, Double Dough, and Deep dish. Thin is super flaky. Double dough is just a little thicker with a hand rolled edge. Chicago Deep dish is super heavy like a pie filled with extra cheese and toppings. It’s hard to eat more than 2 slices of Chicago deep dish in one sitting.
Most people would probably prefer the double dough in my opinion which is closest to hand tossed/tavern style pizza. If you decide to get thin crust make sure to tell them light cook, not to cook it well done as they tend to cook most pizzas towards well done.
They make their sauce, dough, and Italian sausage. Their Italian sausage is INCREDIBLE, it’s real Italian sausage made in house in Chicago and is nothing like the pizza chains and even higher end pizzerias that buy generic sausage. Their Italian sausage is unique and common in Chicago as I rarely ever see that type of sausage anywhere in the country unless they are copying “Chicago style sausage”.
Even their cheese is a unique mozzarella blend made in Wisconsin. It’s buttery and stretchy with just the right amount of salt. Then they sprinkle a little oregano on top for a unique herbal flavor.
Also, if you get the Italian beef they will dunk the whole sandwich in aujus gravy unless you tell them auju on the side. It makes the whole sandwich dripping with juice like a fountain which is made to eat fresh unless you get the gravy on the side. Make sure you get the sweet peppers and if you like some heat also add the “hot giardiniera peppers” which is also unique to Chicago. In Chicago we put hot giardiniera peppers on everything.
I love this place, the ingredients are TOP QUALITY AND DELICIOUS. Don’t hesitate to try it and don’t listen to the...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I've ever had. Manager 'Ryan' did not want to talk to a customer on the phone because I was given the wrong food.- THIS LOCATION IS A DISGRACE TO THE ROSATI’S CORPORATE NAME.
They don't understand the value of customer service in the food industry. You provided me the wrong food and I or any of the 6 others could have been allergic to Green Pepper when I ordered Green OLIVE. olive and pepper are two different produces and don't understand how they don't get the order right.
Secondly, ordered a large pep / sausage and a small cheese.
Poor young lady at the front desk was trying to be polite and was great. The manager advised me that I had to drive another 40 minutes for the correct food when they weren't going to provide me anything for the now 80 minutes on the road for the correct meal and claimed I had to return the green pepper to get money back. I'm not arguing your policy. I'm arguing your quality of service and the manager Ryan is a horrible manager for this franchisee. Bobby, the other person I spoke to because all they did was transfer me to a random person. Well Bobby stated that he was going to review the cameras and phone call. I'm upset that I wasted $65 on a horrible pizza from a horrible franchise location that doesn't care about possibly killing someone. - I would love my $65 back and I'll never ever eat at your location again and leave a review on every platform for the sh!t service I was given.
If the owner would be so kind to contact me before I contact corporate and file a complaint with their corporate team on...
Read moreI ordered two calzones. What I got were two giant pizza pockets full of pizza sauce and no cheese. I called to correct the issue, was told “that’s how we make it.” You can’t even eat this trash. If I wanted to eat pizza sauce, I would have gone to Walmart and bought a can of it. Wasted my money. I don’t know how this establishment can still be in business. I haven’t met anyone who enjoys eating just pizza sauce. Go anywhere but here, unless you like wasting money on false Advertisement.
Also, terrible customer service. Extremely rude. The sign says “Cheese Calzone”… we’re is the cheese? You can’t call it a “Cheese Calzone” if there’s no cheese.
Maybe I should open up my own food truck, advertise that I’m selling chili, but actually give them a bowl of sauce with a single chili bean. Same thing right?
Or how about a bar that sells a drop of beer in a glass full of water? At least the water is consumable without throwing up. You go to a store to put sustenance into your body, not regurgitate up what you already consumed.
Maybe I should just sell “Red Paint” with a drop of red paint inside a pail of blue paint.
Or how about a “4-wheeler” that has 4 wheels of various sizes on a block of wood with no engine, petals, seat.
This is such a great business idea. Who cares about business ethics or returning customers? It’s 2022, nobody cares about...
