Sake Sushi — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I hate leaving bad reviews. but oh my goodness this was one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. our waitress had absolutely no service skills at all. we weren’t even fully sat before she demanded our drink order. she was very rude while taking our order. when i told her what i wanted she said “ oh “.. it didn’t take long for the food to come out, as we were the only people in the restaurant. my roll was so messy, and so many chips in the plate it served on. i could not even eat my roll without half of it falling apart. this was the only sushi restaurant where i had to ask for ginger and wasabi. our waitress was watching us eat. i had not even swallowed my last bite before she was bringing the check over. i say save the trouble and go to fresh market for better quality, and...

While the sushi was great, I will never return. Customer service was awful. Our waitress barely let us review the menu. She was very rude rushing us through. It was my first time and I was excited to try their sushi, I finally ordered and was enjoying my food when she came before I was finished asking if I wanted a box. I told her no. She immediately came back with the check asking if I was ready to pay. I told her no I wanted to finish my meal and she stood at the table making me very uncomfortable so I pulled out my card and paid. My new favorite Jax Sushi spot. Maybe the best I’ve had in the last few years. I found it today and the food completely blew me away. I’m guessing it’s a family run joint as our waitress was in her school uniform. She did amazing, her recommendations were spot on, and the entire table ate like royalty. I had the volcano roll and chicken teriyaki with the rock shrimp appetizer. Everything was define. The prices were great too. I’ll be coming back so I’ll keep...
