SeaBoar Seafood and barbeque — Restaurant in Jacksonville

It's definitely a nice restaurant very spacious Jessica was very helpful with my order and any needs that I had while I was in the dining room my two complaints have to do with the food the chicken wings special for 1899 definitely was not chicken wings it was mini chicken strips and I do MINI , not worth the 1899 and the ranch dressing is 99 cent for extra and it's not filled all the way to the rim I could see paying 50 maybe even 75 if it was filled all the way, but 99 cents per container is ridiculous oh also the salad had no eggs no cucumbers and there was no acknowledgement of that stuff not being on the salad even after I inquired what came on the salad that is still not what I got, this is my first time here I must say the music the atmosphere the friendliness of the staff were very nice it's just my complaint to the food and the woman's bathroom was down I will visit again but I cannot give it a five star just because I feel I was fooled with the advertisement of the chicken wings beware of advertisement when going to...

Sweet girl took our order at the end of the evening abs suggested things since it was our first time in. We were supposed to have a pick 3 seafood, a side of gator, and the 3 meat fries. $58! I can understand small portions during these times but my pick 3 seafood has shrimp and catfish, the hair pieces I almost mistook for popcorn shrimp or clams, my poor fiancé's fries had only 2 meats on it. We were excited to try this place but this has left a bad taste for us. We asked for a side of gator she accidentally put it in for a large order. That is fine we can over look that even the tiny pieces. But leaving out a meat and a fish is unacceptable at these prices. I wish I had checked prior to leaving but it was the end of the night for everyone and I trusted they weren't that distracted. We recently moved to Jacksonville and were looking for some good pulled pork barbecue for a large group coming to the beach for the Fourth of July. We tried several different places, but were not happy with what we found. I thought I would give SeaBoar a try.

Oh, my! The first bite of their pulled pork was a wow. A wonderful, smoky flavor, moist and tender, and included “burnt ends” which I love.

Just to make sure, I took my wife there to also try the pulled pork. She felt exactly the same way. We found our favorite barbecue place in Jacksonville!

We brought 4 pounds of the pulled pork with sauces to our July 4 gathering at the beach. Everyone raved about the barbecue. We were glad we bought enough, because people kept coming back.

The staff are very helpful and service driven at SeaBoar as well.
