Sofi’s Mediterranean is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Mediterranean cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The decor is a blend of rustic charm and modern elegance, setting the perfect mood for a relaxed dining experience.
The menu offers a fantastic selection of classic Mediterranean/Italian dishes, from fresh seafood and warm appetizers to perfectly grilled lamb and seafood. The pasta is a must-try and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of rich spices. The grilled branzino was also a standout, with a crispy exterior and flaky, flavorful interior.
Service was attentive and friendly, with staff eager to offer recommendations and accommodate dietary preferences. The portions were generous, and the flavors felt both authentic and well-balanced. To finish off the meal, the crème brûlée cheesecake and tiramisu was the perfect sweet treat.
Overall, Sofi’s Mediterranean is a fantastic spot for a casual meal with friends or a cozy date night. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean/Italian cuisine or new to it, this restaurant delivers fresh, delicious dishes that transport you straight to the...
Read moreWe went to Sofi’s for dinner Saturday night; and because we know they are still a new-ish establishment, we are really hoping they can get a few kinks worked out and become a successful restaurant in San Marco.
The restaurant is really pretty inside. We definitely liked the vibe and all of the staff is super sweet, however at a restaurant charging these prices the servers need to be more conscientious. For example, we should not have to hand you our used app plates so that you can place my entree plate in front of me. Nor should we have to sign the credit card slip while our table still has the finished entree plates.
That being said, I had the Mediterranean Branzino and it was fantastic. My husband had the mussels pasta and found it to be too spicy. We started with the clams casino which were good but not great for the price.
Our waitress mentioned things are still being worked on, and we really hope that these little details (that become big details over the course of the meal) can be ironed out; because we really hope to return soon and enjoy the experience more so that Sofi’s becomes a “go to” restaurant for us. Definitely give it a shot…as I said,...

For the price, nothing we had was remotely worth it.
The truffle fries were passable—and somehow the best thing we ate at this so-called Italian restaurant. My wife ordered a salad for dinner. It’s a salad, sure, but the dressing tasted like something from a pizza joint.
Now, the pasta. The Chicken Francese was flat-out bad. The noodles were so overcooked they could’ve come from a can of Campbell’s. The “signature” wine-lemon sauce was mouth-puckeringly astringent and clung to my tongue like glue. Even the wine we ordered couldn’t cut through it. The chicken? Technically cooked, completely flavorless.
This is the kind of meal that makes you wonder why you even bother going out for Italian food. We could’ve thrown something together at home and had a better night—and saved a lot of money doing it.
The only bright spot was our server. She was kind, attentive, and clearly doing her best. None of this was her fault—she was the only part of the experience that...
