The food was absolutely delicious and freshly made to order! I got the Lamb Vindaloo Indian spice lvl I will say my spice tolerance is on the higher end so I did want it to be a bit more spicy than it actually was but it was enough. That to say I'm not complaining at all on the taste the flavors were phenomenal. The lamb was very tender and the potatoes were not too big. Which I appreciate! ( some places skimp on the meat and give too many potatoes this was not the case ) my husband got the Chicken Biriyani. He said it was very delicious and I was happily impressed at the large portion they gave him it was enough for leftovers. Of course, the garlic nan was also delicious and warm also nice and crispy on the bottom too! I finished the meal off with the Masala Chai it was creamy and light. Service was fantastic Raj was so friendly! My only Critique is I would agree with other reviewers that the music was mildly too loud. But I'm totally going back again it'll take the cake for being my new favorite spot in Jacksonville! It's about time we got some more healthy and ethnically diverse food options! :) JACKSONVILLE DON'T LET THIS PLACE...

I had some sort of lamb dish. Tried my dates chicken dish. We had some sort of fried bean thing as an appetizer and it was gooood. We also had some kind of naan with nuts like pistachios. It was great. Definitely more of a desert vibe. I had a tea at the end and it was awesome.
To the owner/manager:
I feel like the menu could be simplified. For example, if you have 6 different dishes and each of them has 4 different meat options. You can list 24 different options on the menu, or you can list 6 dishes and then above or below that list the 4 meat options. Which would be 10 listings on the menu instead of 24.
I don't own the restaurant. I am new to this cuisine and I found the menu over whelming. I have eaten elsewhere on the east coast where it was super simplified. Another example would be to think how Chipotle or Subway takes you through step by step. For Subway they have bread, then meat, then cheese, then toppings. I feel like this alternate approach could simplify the menu.
I could be wrong. i didn't penalize the review.
I need to go back again cause everythig I had...
Read moreDate nite dinner, we shared the Chicken Biryani. One serving is sufficient for two, it really is an ample portion. We had the medium spice level and it was very good. Flavors are on point and not overpowering. It is a fun and quiet atmosphere, allowing for cordial intimate conversations, music is appropriate Indian themed at a polite level. Service is attentive but not interrupting, very knowledgeable about menu items and spices. It is a pleasant dining experience with authentic Indian foods. Various options for NAAN, all of which are flavorful and delicious. Chicken Corn soup was spectacular as are the Samosas with appropriate sauces that just pop with flavor. This is a much needed and excellent addition to Jacksonvilles culinary highlights. You're the one that will be missing out on a much deserved treat if you don't at least try a visit. Not hard to find, right off from 57 in the Jacksonville Inn....just think, if you eat too much and need a nap! Voila, you can get a room and rest your happy tummy. As for pricing, they are appropriate. Tip well, service is deserving. As I live nearby, We will...
