I don't normally post reviews but I just had the worst experience in a Starbucks. I ordered two drinks, a hot tea and a hot coffee. I live about 12 minutes away so I placed my order before I got in my car. I got to the store and there were a lot of people waiting for their drinks. I finally got my order after about 10 more extra minutes of waiting inside the store. As I was reading the drink labels I realized I got 2 of the same exact tea drink, no coffee drink. Went back to the counter and talked to someone. She said 2 tea drinks came through. I showed her the order on my app saying one tea, one coffee. She did not even say sorry, took one of the teas, poured it out, and said she'd get me a new one. I sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. All the people who were waiting for their drinks were all gone. I finally got up and asked one of the baristas about my order, and NOBODY WAS MAKING MY COFFEE. She did not know anything about my order issue. And at that point you would think she would be apologetic, but she was not. I tried showing her my order details but she would not even look at my phone. She kept asking me what coffee I wanted, what size, what milk, hot or cold, like I'm placing a new order. Very rude. That was not helpful to me that she did that. There's this basic customer service skill called listening, which she clearly did not have. She kept walking around while talking to me by the way. l placed my order at 7:41am, and I did not get out of the store until 8:17am. Had I chosen the drive-through, this would been done in 10 minutes. There's some serious communication issues among the staff. Being short-handed should not be an excuse to not communicate well. Very lame excuse. Busy or not, you can choose to communicate effectively. I believe this facility has cameras, so if management wishes to, they can confirm the details of this complaint. I received ZERO APOLOGIES by the way. This was supposed to be a quiet and calm Saturday morning, and here I am, having to spend my morning writing a google review, to hopefully remind people to do their job. I did not see this...
Read moreI come to Jax every other week and while here on the trip this time, I have tried several Starbucks as well as other cafés/restaurants to relax, eat and do some work during the day.
This location is the only one I have come back to more than once, and in fact, as of today it’s my third time. This shows you the level of satisfaction I received here.
The reasons I have continued to come back is simple, the service, professionalism and overall quality of the people in this location. I can get a coffee and snack anywhere, but you want to feel respected and relaxed if you are to give your money to a place.
I am going to have to single out one barista, Cameron. I am a simple latte or black coffee drinker and never went for any of the fancy stuff. But on the first day I was here, I told Cameron I needed something to help give me a boost of energy. She asked me some questions and then she created something that was amazing!!
Two days later and I am assuming a hundred+ customers later I came back in and she not only remembered my name but also remembers exactly what that fancy drink was. From my experience, this level of customer service and professionalism is not normally a learned trait but an internal quality that people either have or don’t.
I want to thank Cameron as well as the entire team of this location for making me feel relaxed and taken care of me while I was here. You deserve 6 Stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
This is the drink, sharing not just to show you all but so I can remember it for next time 😊 Vt Cold Brew 2 Toffee nut syrup 2 white...
Read moreI have never had a bad experience here. Sure sometimes it might be slow and they might be out of something. That happens anywhere. By nature I enjoy people watching. If you want to complain about the wait in the drive thru, sit back and watch. When someone orders three frozen drinks, a pound of ground coffee and a newspaper then gets to the window and decides to put more money on their card that is going to slow things up. When you have the idiots that are nattering on their phone while placing an order or paying that will slow things up. I love the people that don't even look at the menu until they get to the point of ordering, ask 100 questions then search for the 27 cents for exact change for ten minutes. Don't even get me started on the people that during a morning rush think its adorable for 6 year old Timmy to decide what he wants. My favorites by far though are the arrogant rude morons that treat the staff like servants. Next time you want to blame the store or its staff take a few minutes, sit back and notice the gems of society that they are...
