I came here because I saw their check in deal for a free drink. My friends and I showed that we checked in and the bartender was hesitant of giving us our drinks. It only applies to the house drinks so it was nothing special. This lounge has a very "pop" vibe. It was a big venue with many games and a naked girl dancing in a cage. The DJ was playing all of the pop songs you would hear on the radio. It wasn't the vibe that me and my friends were looking for so we had to look for...

I can not say enough kind words about the owner Jim, the bartenders & the regulars. What a great experience for Lynard Skynard fans! I can see why one of the greatest rock n roll bands of all times wrote a song about this place! Staying in the childhood home of the VanZant bothers & visiting the Jug has been a great experience for us die hard fans! I highly recommend a visit to the Jug if you’re in the Jacksonville area! Kudos to Jim & all his peeps!...

I was cutting the rug down at a place called the Jug... every Skynyrd fan needs to visit the Jug so 5 stars for being a cultural icon. But 3 stars for being such a dinky dive. Once you visit you will understand why Ronnie only needed 3 steps. We visited twice and once we felt very welcome and once we were just politely tolerated by a completely different group of regulars.
