Wawa — Restaurant in Jacksonville

ROACH IN LETTUCE BEWARE. WE ALTER GAS PRICES AFTER POSTING AS THEY FLUCTUATE THROUGH OUT THE DAY. GAS SURCHARGE Please if anyone will listen to me please don’t go im a regular worker and customer at Wawa we don’t clean out our grills or sanitary buckets. I tried to consulting out general manager today after serving 7 SIZZILIS WITHOUT change of sanitary bucket and was told I could “call corporate” IF I NEED TO COMPLAIN. I am completely disgusted and I myself don’t get gas or especially food. I honestly can’t sit here and allow this to happen I may be a whistle blower but it’s not fair. At this particular location there are roaches which I HATE. After letting my staff manger know I was told to leave for the day. How many times a day do you disappoint families when only 2 of them can eat when they order the $10 family sized soup? Not to mention this was the first time I had an ounce of COURAGE TO EAT HERE AGAIN after having to return the soup for this same reason, the dude working food prep/soup dumped our soups back into the Soup served to customers 🤢. Wish I could say I was lying 😕. I Told the manager and she seemed concerned and offered no argue to run to aid the problem so it seemed, but 2 weeks later it's clear to see the same guy may be working that position due to the repetitive lack of quality we see from them. Me and my partner usually come here to grab a bite to eat whenever we're feeling a little lazy. USUALLY this Wawa has no issues, especially with food quality. Unfortunately, during this most recent visit, my fiance found something in her sub's bread that looked similar to mold. Upon bringing this up to the food service employee, I was met with an attitude (not the first time at this location), and was told by the short girl with thick lensed glasses that the "bread was made fresh" and that all it was was from the oven. I can understand that part, but regardless, it didn't really feel alright to eat some mystery oven gunk????
