Yara Seafood — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I’m a Duval native, and no matter what side of town you’re from, you know Yara’s off Emerson got the best crabs with that garlic sauce that I’m still trying to figure out till this day. This is how you know it’s real though: I’m all the way in NYC, haven’t had it in over 15 years, and I can still taste that distinctive flavor. And before you try to say it’s been too long and the food could’ve changed, chile, all my friends I check in with say Yara’s still slaps! Go get you some! For real though, Yara’s hits way...

Place needs to be deep cleaned. Dust all over, old decorations, hanging up or on top of shelves. No food in sight. Hate to see what the back looks like. Then, there were none, but one customer in there, besides us; Who left to go outside, I'm sure due to there not being enough space able to social~distance in there. But, was told they had other customers ahead of us, even though we were the only ones standing there and just wanted some seasoning...

I've been a customer at Yara's for many years. I live in Brunswick GA an hour away, my family lives in Jax. Every time I come to Jax I stop by and get 3ea 30pc Garlic Shrimp. Why?
