Wow, does this company even care about this location's consistently poor reviews not to mention ones people probably didn't bother writing. We are new to Jacksonville, and thought we'd try this place about 3 weeks ago on a Saturday. We went to go in and eat around 2 pm and the doors were locked. There were 2 DoorDash people waiting outside and not happy. They let me know the doors were locked, no one was coming to the doors, and on another occasion, the workers wouldn't let them in. There was a makeshift sign on the door stating the inside is only open Monday through Friday. What? Drive-thru had 6 cars in it but we got in line but twenty minutes later when line hadn't moved, we went elsewhere. Fast forward to this evening about 7:50 pm. My daughter ordered carryout via her phone. She gets to the door and it's locked. Um, it is Friday so why aren't the doors open? Someone finally came to the door and get this. The lady said get in the drive-thru line to get your food and was rude. The drive-thru was full, wrapped around, and not moving. Are you kidding me? She told the lady that no she will not go wait in that line when her food was ready. She asked her to bring it out. Finally they did. Order was messed up, wrong drink, no sauce that was asked for, etc. I notice that there are very few responses to customers regarding these reviews and what little responses there are on here are directed at people giving them 4 stars - not even sure who those people would be. Bottom line:. What's your excuse/reason for this poor service? Please do not say you're understaffed because there are many similar establishments right around this location that have no staffing issues. Is it lack of caring? Going to guess yes on part of entire company and at location level. Either you're paying way less than comparable establishments, the conditions are bad at this location, mgmt stinks here and at corporate level, conditions are good for lazy people with bad attitudes, or perhaps it's something else. What a disgrace this location is and blaming corporate office too. No one wants a coupon to make up for these poor food quality and service issues because they don't want to come back. Shame on you. If people start getting sick when eating raw, uncooked, or contaminated food here, that won't be good for your company. Hopefully Jacksonville will get a...
Read moreThank you, Google, for asking how my experience was! It was truly the worst experience ever!! I placed an order online. Went to pick it up, and we got stuck in the Town Center traffic with it being Christmas time! That's not the problem here!!!!! The problem is when I came to pick my order up 50 mins later! Nobody could find my order, apparently. The rude young girl whom to my guess, was working the drive thru, thought it was funny, and wanted to pull the we're short staff have respect. That's not an excuse for my order to be missing, and instead of making it right, she wanted to laugh and step to the side with the manager and try to run her mouth about me. Back to the short staff, there were 2 managers, the rude girl and 2 people in the back where the food is, to say the least. One family who was leaving the dining room when I entered, and maybe one car was in the drive thru. So instead of laughing about customer's food not being ready. She should have actually helped out and not stood around. After all this, they asked if I wanted my order to be made/remade to them. I said no, I just want a refund as the rude girl kept running her unprofessional mouth on the side. It took over 10 minutes just for them to refund me back. I had everything pulled up ready for them since apparently the system or the workers didn't know what was going on and still couldn't refund me without making it a bigger problem. As a restaurant and business owner myself. I love to know the kind of people who are the face of my company and I can tell you the ladies that day we're not professional whatsoever about this situation. Also, the day this happened. I was in the Town Center picking up different food orders for...
Read moreI happen to love Zaxby’s, and it pains me to write this, just like it pained me to have to give a poor review to a Chick-fil-A location after 3 fails in a row. They literally messed up the order that they gave me as a replacement for another messed up order, and that’s just one of the times. I digress. (On a positive note, however, all of the bad service I received at that location, it’s actually the one in Yulee, and to my knowledge the only one in Yulee, was rectified by the exemplary and exceptional service shown to me by a manager named CJ at the Mandarin location on San Jose Blvd. See my pending Chick-fil-A reviews for more on that.) We all know that in this day and age, with the help of Google, it literally takes a couple clicks of the mouse for a business to update their hours. This location has a closing time listed as 10pm, but when I arrived at 9:30pm, it was pitch black. Furthermore, it looks like no one has been there for some time, like they probably closed at 8pm or so. I went out of my way to come to this restaurant because I like their food, and they can’t even do me, us, their customers the simple, basic courtesy of updating their hours. For that reason, unless a representative from Zaxby’s or this location specifically wants to contact me and let me know just why y’all don’t mind inconveniencing your customers, then you will continue to lose previously returning customers like myself. There are and endless number of places to eat, especially chicken fingers and fries. If you can’t get the customer service right, then you might as well give up now. For better or worse, that is my impression of this location and my experience...
